1. Did Adam Have a Navel?

2. Did the trees in the garden of eden have rings?

3. Was the soil in the garden of eden made from decayed leaves from trees that had previously existed?

4. And the question i asked in the other thread which was kind of answered was if Kane killed Able then hpw did he reproduce?

Although a high percentage of it is and is just made up so God is presented is kind,I wouldn't say ALL of the Bible was fictional.

God killed man, but then he didn't.
Jesus died for sin, but came back to life, so he never took anyones sin away.
The water into wine was an illustration.

Well obviously if the trees were a couple days old like the Bible sais then they couldnt have had the rings from the different seasons.. And same applies to the soil.

I do not go to church or live by the bible but just heard these questions and thought they were interesting so wanted to see what people would do to explain the answers.

I saw that and it was a good movie but it is not what the bible actualy sais. He made up most of it just to make the story interesting...

But most of the Bible is missing and the stuff that is in there now is alot of rubbish to be honest that was added over time to make certain people look good/bad and God to be portrayed as even better.

I mean, I asked my friend, (She follows the bible literally), that if she had to hop around all Saturday and Saunday and that it was written in the bible otherwise she would go to hell, would she? And she said yeah, she would.

Exactly,I mean if he can create complex creatures like us I'm sure he could add a bit of age to the trees so their older. I mean I believe Adam and Eve were adults when they were 'born' were they not? If so what happened about the whole pregnancy process. Again it all goes back to God being omnipotent thus meaning he can pretty much do what he wants.

The Bible wasn't written by one people, it's a collection of accounts by many different people. It has been altered and tampered with so much over time though, so it's probably hardly anything like what it used to be. It's more or less archeologically and factually proven though.

Peopl say to us, Believe in the bible, believe in god/jesus, yeah, thats their opinion. Our opinion that it's fiction is OUR opinion and I say that it is. Most of it is BS and it contradics it's self many times. Many things it says in the bible are impossible but you know, it's the will of god. :rolleyes:

You complain that Christians keep going on about their religion, but if you don't like it then don't inflict your beliefs on everyone constantly either. Threads like this aren't for arguments about what you believe, they're questions about the Bible that someone wants to know about. Attacking their religion is hardly going to help anyone - and the person asking questions might not even be religious anyway, they might be like me and just enjoy knowing these sorts of things.

that was mangerlin or somthing, they both had very simlar names which the church abused hence convinceing people they were both one and the same, taring her repuation since otheriwize the bible would have made women equal to men, and also it said churchs, clergy, preastes etc were all work of the devel and the so called houses of god were sins.
Most thats in the testiment jesus himself was supposed to have written "/ Since the whole world is gods house and all are equal, so no churchs no preiest. rich preasts didnt like that, hence the rewrites.
The whole new testiment was all writen by a guy called peter 300 years or so after the evenets in the form of letters anyway...

Well if where going week sceptic, why not strong.

God wakes up just now and realises "oh no! i forgot to create the world" so he snaps his fingers, and create the world exsactly as it would have been if he had created it on time, Compleate with trees buildings memoryes etc.
Theres no way we can no wheather the world existed before the present becuse of that "/

but that kinda causes problems with life if people get to worryed so people kinda ignore the problem.

Plus even god can not contradict a consept. 2+2 will always equal 4 wheather god likes it or not, he can delude us to make us think otherwize (yet thats contary to his benevolance) or he could rename the consepts but the conseptes all remain the same and correct...

Threads like this aren't for arguments about what you believe, they're questions about the Bible that someone wants to know about. Attacking their religion is hardly going to help anyone - and the person asking questions might not even be religious anyway, they might be like me and just enjoy knowing these sorts of things.
To be honest its not realy attacking the bible as what was said is entirely true "/ I could list 100s of contradictions (and will if requested)
