You can only get them if you have the right files, I had them but I got rid of them the site that you got them from closed down as the owner got bored and JaGex got into it all, and they are not laggy I used to play on them loads the only laggy ones are people with really ****** hosts, they can get boring after a while as you could only train on hay, dummies and doors for combat until people finally figured out NPC's and PKing but that was just before the site closed

I go on them every day, they are pretty fun, some you can't spawn items on, but they are fun anyway...

Oi! I have experiance, I used to edit private servers, I had to help my mate on his because he didn't know how to change certain things in them, like what XP you get per kill or whatever, I even helped someone write there own code, I had the full NPC/item spawn lists but I lost it all when my comp went dead, I gave up because they are a waste of time and Jon you're only risking if you are stupid enough to use your real name and password, most of the server are 100% safe, the char info is stored in a file and only really smart people can actually figure out how to get your password from the files because the file type isn't default to the computer so you need to either figure it out in notepad or download something lol
