;P I hate people that boast how good they are over 100m etc.
Too me athletics is pretty pointless too be honest. I prefer sports like Tennis, Golf etc. ;] I ran 100m in about 14s or something don't really remember things.

1 10.46 Christian Malcolm N/S South Wales
2 10.59 Gerald Phiri Yorkshire
3 10.78 Leroy Slue N/S Surrey
4 10.89 Paul Brizzel Northern Ireland
5 11.14 Josh Wood N/S Surrey
6 11.35 Nick Mesney North Wales
7 11.35 Alastair Gordon Sussex
8 11.50 Bradley Williams N/S North Wales
I took that from the britishathletics website.
I doubt people are getting 12s as you'd be 50 mini seconds off competing in big british events.
Edit; I don't time myself as im crap at sport, about 17seconds?

11.9 seconds. I prefer 1500m however.
If your telling the truth, you should be a professional 100m.
The record is something like 9.79.

Hello people...? Lots of people can get 12seconds, Not just prof. athletes.
I'm 13 and I get 12 so of course it's possible ;s. And 11.9 is bugging me!
I highly doubt it would go:
Normal people --10 seconds faster--> prof. athletes
If you understand that, tell me rofl.

Not everyone who is fast wants to compete at professional level. My school is a sports college and has some of the best runners in the North West, some guy got 10.58 but he doesn't plan on ever running professionally, he's just fast. 11.50 is pretty average in terms of fast runners actually so i'm surprised about that.

I wouldn't lie to a bunch of kids that I don't even know. I've grown up playing sports especially running and sports withing the athletics circle. Running professional doesn't appeal to me as no way am I fast enough, although I run for Wigan Athletics in the North West purely because I enjoy running and exercise in general.
