It has always been like that, if you ignore it, it'll attack you, you can kill it but it takes very long and you need enough food and anti poisons, I've killed it once, stupid plant didn't drop anything. =@

I started, took off about 5 hp, and the bar didnt change, so i guessed it must have a lot of hp.. :)

Yep, and you can't hit very high, I think 5 or 6 is the max.
