The sword is really the wrong era. It should be a cutlass. Perhaps a curved blade but definately a different handle.
I'm not sure if he had a sword in it though.. He probably did..
In my opinion you should erase all the tenticles and start again doing shorter smaller ones more similar to his.

Skin should be alot lighter. The sword is the wrong place, it should be in his right hand, He had a giant crab claw on his left. The sword should be smaller, and it doesn't have a handle. He should have a pipe in his mouth, Considering the fact he is forever using it in the film. His tenticles should be different sizes, Large outside, Smaller inside. You should show metal parts through the tenticle, as that's where he stores the key to his heart inside the Dead mans chest.

I just spent about 4 hours doing a Davy jones myself, so lemme give you some tips on yours. (Coming from someone that has just spent all that time looking at the source and having it fresh in his mind)

Capt Jones is more of a yellowish tone than the brown you have used.

I do like that you have included a sword, I didn't with mine, but his sword is more raspy, like a sawfish beak. Having it obscure his most defining feature (the tenticles on his face) may have seemed like a good way to get out of pixeling the details, but it makes him less distinguishable. You may want to give him a walking cane instead, its canon to the movie, and its a nice effect (mine has one, it looks very sharp.)

His "pegleg" which is in actuality a crableg, needs to be much skinnier. Don't be afraid to mess about with the Habbo template and make his leg thinner. It will make a ver nice effect.

I am a little disappointed by what I am NOT seeing.. Where is his giant crab claw hand? You should add that to he alt too, it will give it more realism.

With a little more work, this could turn out to be a pretty good alt. :)

In the movie he is shown as a person/creature with many characteristics of a crab and on an octopus
