School residential, me and a male friend were chatting to a girl on the bus.

We all seemed to get on pretty well, the next night me and him [in the same dorm] has a man chat, we talked about who was fit and who we hated then convo got onto this girl. We both said we "wouldnt say no", and from what he said it really didnt seem like he fancied her at all, much.

After the trip, me and the girl exchanged numbers and talked for hours on end on msn, really did think there was something between us. I fancied her, heartbreakingly enough, i dont think she fancied me :(

A week on from the trip [Today], i hear from him that he's going out with her!

I am bloody disappointed and writing this to get it off my chest. I need someone to talk to/people to cheer me up. i fancied her, really making the effort with her, then from the blue he is going out with her...

Help?

My friend went out with a girl I liked, then broke up a few months later. A few months after that I started dating her.

My friend blamed it on me, he thought I sabotaged his relationship.

Luckily were friends again though.

What you should do, is swallow your pride. Become friends and let that pain slowely but surely sink away.

Well to be honest, I think i know more about her then her new boyfriend does, today at school he bought her over to where me and friends sit and i think i actually spoke more to her than he did.

I definately think me and her get on more, she even sent me a text saying "it may work out but may not" - I definately am hoping it dont work out. Sounds shallow because he is a mate, but to be honest, i would rather have a decent girlfriend and a lessened friendship than have nothing at all...

If she really likes you she'll realise her mistake and figure out you were better in the first place. seeing she talks to you more thats maybe a sign you are more interesting as a person.

Just keep doing what you're doing, don't tell her how you feel about her while she's with your mate, half this forum talk balls, all about "love" and stuff like that, you're a teenager, you should be out getting girls, not trying to find your true love :rolleyes: Anyway, don't tell her how you feel, try to flirt a little bit, just gently, if she asks you who you like, say "I can't say", but give her a "look", then when she splits up with your mate, give it a while, keep talking to her etc. then ask her who she likes, if she looks a bit shy, or gives you a "look", you're in ;)

Now im plan on telling her how i feel and hopefully she will say yes once i ask her out, which i may hold back for a week or two, get to know her really well.

Problems solved, she dumped the guy, i did have something to do with it too, as from yesterday, she's with meWell, you indirectly had something to do with it, because she liked you, probably because you didn't say how you felt right away, which would scare most people away.
