Do your dreams/nightmares mean something to you ?

The reason i made this thread is because, i've had a bad past k, and i had a flashback of something which is something i do not want to remember</3 But it was like a nightmare but alot worse than what had happened to me that night last crimbo. It's affected me alot today, i kinda just sat in the corner, holding a pillow and staring into space.

It would really help me if you posted with an answer..

I never have dreams about the past. Some dreams affect me because they have my grandad in, well not all of them, but I've had a lot of dreams with him in. We were really close. It feels nice to see him again in my dreams.

I used to have recurring dreams about my cat when I was younger (I was really scared of him for some reason) that lasted until I was about 10. In these dreams they'd start normally, just random thoughts and whatever, and they'd always end with me walking somewhere, seeing my cat, and him jumping up and clawing my face, and I'd wake up. Haven't had them for a few years now, possibly because he was put down and so obviously I don't see him any more. Scary at the time, but didn't affect me apart from keeping up the strange fear of my cat.

I can never remember my dreams... Though I can remember some vivid nightmares.
The thing is, my nightmares are pretty wierd :rolleyes: they aren't exactly what I would call scary, I look back at them and laugh! But they are about frustration (i think).
I dream that I have to turn a boat around, but it is going to slow and it won't... and we just go and go and go, it feels flat and plain... It's not scary, but I wake up sweating and I am always glad to get out of em!

Well, when my nan passes away that night before I went to bed Isaid "nan, give me a sign that your okay" I had a dream that night that showed my nan in a glowing white robe.

I have had dreams, some which have happened to me, so ive like seen the future.
I always talk in my sleep apparently, but then when my mum asks me what I dreamed, I cannot remember. It must of been something thought because I wouldnt of been talking otherwise.

I dont think dreams mean anything to me, I just like the thought of some of them.

A few weeks ago in between school a house was on fire [well, in the end the shed] which had 2 cats and 1 dog inside it apparently. I checked it out and had a look and saw the fire bargade coming etc.

That night i had a dream that me and my mate where at this festival and their was a shed, like the size of a football stadium and it had dogs with cages in them and we set fire to them. Then we went to school assesmbly and everyone hated me.

Stuff that i saw affected my dreams, i woke up and felt like i was falling? lol.

Depends how serious the dream is. Whenever I dream it tends to go good and then it slides off topic to some random moment or thing :|

I always get this recurring dream where I'm in a sort of canvas, along with my classmates in school. So we're sitting in there, having a drink, etc, and some terroists come in with guns. We all have to drop to the floor and we hear some screaming. So it drags on, and they all tell us we have to get out and run for our lives before they get us.
So we're running, me and my mate, and some vicous [SP] dogs catch our heels and drag us down. The last thing I see is the dogs with their sharp, drooling jaws come down on our faces. I wake up yelling and trashing, and I'm somehow on the other side of the room.

This happens about 3 times a week, it's so scary.
