I havent seen a ghost, but I know there was one in the house with me:

My nan passed away a few weeks ago, so my parents, my aunts and uncles went to my uncles house for dinner. We were eating and then all of a sudden a picture of my Grandfather fell off the wall(Hes my nans husband) So we thought oh its just one of the cats. A few minutes later another picture fell off, but it was downstairs, and still a picture of my grandfather. Then after that yet another picture falls of my grandfather.

Believe what you want, but I know it was my nan :)

I had a 'ghost' encounter when I was younger. Me and my friend was best friends with a boy (Aged 9) that died on a swing in the park we were in at the time. The swing has been sealed off and is now not used by anyone for respect.

Anywho, late one night we were in the park just talking about him and how tragic it was and all of a sudden we saw the swing that no one goes on (It's tied up) started moving and swinging backwards and fowards, we thought nothing of it and just thought it was a strong wind and we would re-do it up later. Anyway, it started swining fully and we were just both like ".. o.O" and then out of no where a ghostly white figure apeared on the swing and we were just in a constant gaze and awe at the figure, it looked at us, smiled and then fell of the swing and disapeared into the ground.

Me and my friend just looked at each other and just thought we were dreaming. But until this day, I've only had one and it was from that friend. In my mind I think he showed before us to tell us he was okay and that we should stop worrying about him.

Oh, this happened to. I didnt see the ghosts until my dad showed me the picture :P

My family and I were on vacation in a town called Gettysburg. Gettysburg is a small town where a civil war battle was fought. Over 60,000 men died in 3 days there. Anyway, we were in this confederate field at about 10 at night. My dad decides to take a picture of my back, nothing. So my dad starts whistling Dixie( a confederate song) He takes another picture of me and theres hundreds of orbs above me.

After we left the field we were going to head back to the motel. All of a sudden theres a patch of fog in the field about 100 feet away. About 5-6ft high and about 7-8 feet wide. My dad tells my mom to snap a picture out of the window. About 30 seconds later the fog was right up against our car. My mom closed her window and we drove off, lol.

My brother works at Coombe Abbey (one of those huge, medieval mansions which has been converted into a hotel) and there are rooms the staff wont let guests near due to the fact they are too scared to enter and clean them themselves. The management don't let staff enter certain rooms unless they are accompanied by another member of staff and it is just generally extremely haunted.

I once was having a dream about me then recently passed away gran and i woke up EXTREMELY upset, i opened my eyes and i seen someone who resembled my gran sitting on my bed with someone standing beside her - my grampa i presume [ I never met him he died at least 20 years before i was born] and my heart was in my mouth. I KNOW MY GRAN WAS THERE.

These are some I was told by Nana/Mum:

One was when my grandparents and mum moved house decades ago, shortly after my great uncle (I think it was my great uncle but I'm not sure, I was told it quite a while ago) died. The people who bought the house refused to get out of their rooms when it was night-time as the mum of the family said she saw a ghostly-white man wearing an army uniform stood at the top of the stairs saluting. When the family told my family, it sounded just like my great uncle.

One was when my nana and her friends when she was young were using a weegee board. As they started the wine glass spelt out my nanas name (Audrey) and she just assumed they were all pranking her and she said so. They all said that they weren't, so my nana, joking around, said "who are you?" and it said her father's name. Her father had died recently and nobody using the weegee board knew his name other than my nana! Then it spelt out "Look after your mother". I believe her, and I know she wouldn't lie.

My grandparents were waiting for one of my grandad's brothers to arrive, while the other was at war. As they were upstairs they heard the door open downstairs and heard their dog barking and a voice go "Shh Mickey". My Grandparents recognised the voice of his other brother they weren't expecting for another week and went downstairs, but nobody was there. Shortly after, they got a phone call form the army telling them the brother had died, died at the exact time they heard him downstairs.

Once me and my old mate, we aren't mates anymore was round my house. He was playing on the xbox over the other side of my room and i was on my DJ Decks messing about doing a bit of mixing, i had my headphones on and something whacked me on the head on top of the headphones bit that goes over your head i turned around and he was still sitting at the xBox and i go oi what was for and we was seriously freaked out.

That night when he was staying around i was sleeping on the floor and he goes make sure the doors unlocked, this was when i was living with my mum and she had a go at me when i locked my door at night in case she needed to get in. Well i got up and made sure the lock was undone, it was and the lock was unlocked like where you draw it back and flick it down..

Well anyway i woke up in the morning and my mum was banging on my door, the door was locked.. I was so freaked out ;l

Some weird things that happened to me:

Went downstairs to watch tv while home alone and started getting *****ling on the back of my neck like you do when someone's behind you. I turned around and no1 there. So i ignore it and it happens again, so i quickly turn around and there is a very loud bang directly above me in my parents room. I sat still for 3hours waiting for parents to come home ~scared~

One day, My friend, It was her first communion. Service as usual. We got home and i was hanging with her, and we were watching this humungus picture of Jesus on the wall. and suddenly he winked, We both lookd at each other gobsmacked and ran up to her house. and we looked at her Mary statue and it had moved hand positions to thumbs up. :S

I was walking out the bathroom, a ghost with a dog at the stairs at the bottom. - not human as u could see it wont and as everyone was upstairs.

I was also watching tv downstairs, a old women ish was standing at the door.

I have tons since my moms a spiritualist medium and stuff, and my house is over 200 years old, so it's pretty normal...

Uhm, one of the weirdest ones was when we first moved here. Theres this room in my house that has a strange feel to it, you can never feel comfortable in it, and when we first moved here it had the computer in. So one night I was just looking at the clock and I realized it had stopped at 5:07, but we had only changed the batterys a week before, so I asked my mom what the real time was, and her watch had also stopped at 5:07...
And that freaked us out, so then a week later, she was teling someone about it, and looked at her watch and it had gone back an hour to 5:07...

And another time, at my brothers wedding my mom was talking to a man about something that had happened to him, so I don't know if this is true or not. But he said that he used to work in an old Army Barracks, and one night, some of the men were garding a room. No one knows what they saw because they've never been able to tell anyone. But one night something happened and they both ran out the room screaming and all the alarms went off, so people went in to investigate, and a table was stuck through the roof. And these two men, when askedwhat they saw just started to shake and cry.
Don't know if that's true though ;S

Another one was, two years ago. I had a golden Labrador called Honey was really ill with cancer, but we didn't know. She didn't show any sign of pain, she was happy, she ate and was fine. And one nighy, she was really hot and panting, in the middle of winter, so we thought she must just be sick or something. And she came into my room in the middle of the night and made me come downstairs, so I sat up with her all night. In the moring I told my dad to take her to the vets. And he phoned me and told me that they think she has an inflamed womb, so they would operate to remove it. So I thought everything would be fine, but when I got home from school, I came in to see her and realized she wasn't there, so I asked my dad where she was, and he told me that when they had operated to take her womb out, they found out she had a tumor inside her the size of a size 5 football which was wrapped round her intestines and pushing against her lungs, and that she had died on the operating table. That night I was in bed, and I swear I felt something jump onto my bed, but thought nothing of it, until I woke up in the morning and found her collar at the end of my bed... So I went into the lounge and we had a marble fire place, and I was just looking at it, and I could see a pattern in the marble in the shape of her face, I don't know if it was there before, but I'd lived in that house 12 years and never noticed it. So yeah....
