hi. i recently bought a domain. the problem is when l put in the nameservers. where do i put the ip address because atm it says it doesnt exist

As far as i know you don't need to put the IP address in ???

Just the name servers [ns1.yourdomain.com and ns2.yourdomain.com] or something.. Oh and it takes up to 24 hours for the DNS servers to update that may be your problem.

one is but other domain goes to my hugoton account. where did u put the ips cos i can only see nameservers in my domain panel

the ips go in the part that says adresses or ips. test it with your ip u use this link to find your ip http://whatismyipaddress.com/

with my domain at lycos it was there but with optinom they only have nameserver bit

You can make nameservers point to ips on xeodomains

oh. how cos optinom has the same control panel but i cant find it there
