I am the exciting paper round specialist :P

Morning and Afternoon, Monday - Saturday.

Get up at 6:45 weekdays, 8am saturdays, man it is slowly driving me weaker and weaker.

I hate it, but I need the money for everything and anything.

Ah the ol' paper rounds. My mates bro does them, he does them in the afternoon. Well he's meant to, but he has a club or something so he does it early the next day.

None of the above. I don't have a job, I have never had a job, and I plan to avoid getting a job until I finish studying unless I really do run out of money.

Mm, why is everything so stereotypicalised? Like.. girls loving shopping and "Oohh, I broke a nail" :P I reckon it's silly, I do! Does it matter, really.

She just wants to study? I bet you wouldn't have a job unless you needed money and plainly she doesn't.

Partime: I shovel in the winter(pays extraordinarily well), and mow lawns.
Fulltime: I work at a regional office of McDonald's, and work as baseball umpire for Babe Ruth and Little League, and Winter Leagues(year-round).

My brothers paperround (which I occasionally did) was so poor.
25-30 Papers, around a large area, you had to ride up this ginormous hill to get to the newsagents, £7.50 a week. :P

i think paper rounds give rubbish pay, newsagents should so summit about it.

Jacko2kn3
10-02-2005, 05:49 PM
Some do, mine doesn't, I'm one of the best paid paperboys out of me and my friends :D

£12 a week, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday Mornings.

£10 a week, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday Afternoons.

Plus they are pretty lenient when I ask to cancel it due to going out/football matches etc.

i got to admit paper rounds can b tedious. I got the week off next week and each day im cycling out i just think to myself "this time next week" and a big smile comes over my face :D

Haha, lucky you! Me on the other hand, not so lucky.

I have cancelled Saturday as I'm going to an away football match :P

But next week, I hate having a paper round, it really messes with my plans. I have to be back for about 3pm to do paper round etc.

Annoying, to say the least.

I get $25 a game for baseball umpiring, and $9 an hour at McD's. PLus shoveling I can get a good $5-600 if about 2 feet comes ;) *But it's a pain in the neck*
