i was looking around different forums such as habbomeadow etc.
and i noticed members had badges , looking at them i thought they looked good . i wondered why habbox dont have the badges ? so this brings me to this idea ,

HABBOX'S OWN BADGES !

1. BADGES FOR EVENTS DONE MY HABBOX ITSELF
2. BADGES FOR STAFF
3. like battleball has a badge for top leaderboard , why dont habbox have their very own TOP ALT ARTIST OF THE MONTH !

those were just a few of my ideas for badges .

Yeah, Im a Mod on Habbomeadowforum, The badges are great for rewards and events won and they can be used for any purpose. They would make a great addition to a great forum.
Definetly should be installed here :)

Habbox UK does not install hacks due to secruity flaws in all hacks. So it wont be installed.

That would be cool :D

Members could have a basic badge with 'M' on it, VIPs could have a star badge with 'VIP' or 'V' and staff could have the initials of there job position.

But then again, what if they had lots of jobs, no room for badges! :(

The badges work on other forums because they're small. HabboPaper Forum, with it's 300-odd members had lots of requests coming in for each badge. It's too much to handle, especially as each one has to be added manually. Plus, we all know who the staff are here, don't we?

No hacks are the name for installing something eg in this case the badges. Not actually Hacking..
and like what has been said habbox do not install hacks because of possible safety flaws.

The reason why Habbox does not have the Award's on this forum.

These require something called a "Hack", and because HabboxForum UK doesn't install them for safety reasons, since they 9.9/10 have flaws in them, could be a risk to the forum being hacked.

I don't think it is possible to add just indivual fields to seperate users without this hack.

Badges would be a nice idea but we already have User Titles.

And user titles are things you earn by either posting more or becoming staff.

Badges look tacky and iCrag gave you a perfectly good reason. :l

HabboxForum USA probably has them because its a smaller forum so the badges are easier to give out, unlike this one that has loads of people so it could be harder?

No because installing hacks, leads to security flaws which makes the forum easier to hack.

and Peas, HabboxForum USA has them probably because they feel it isn't as important as the main forum.

To use the badge system we'd need to install a hack which we don't use cause they have security flaws which makes us vulnerable to hackers. Habboxforum.us uses hacks as its a smaller forum and all.

EDIT: Oops, sorry didn't see Smiddy's post :eusa_ange
