Suggestion for Habboxforum

Hey,

I personally think it would be good to have a page on habbox somewhere where it could have the following things:

Names of hosts/Links:

There's hundreds of hosts out there that would want to put their link on it, and if you're new to website making it can be very confusing and hard to find the right host etc, which lots of habbos like to try and make themselves a website-It may even bring new members to habboxforum

Links to any sites:

You could have an extra page where people could pay a fiver for a month or something, to have their bannerwebsite link on this page-It would bring in a lot more income for habbox


Just an idea anyway, could be improvised/improved

Obviously Habbox's recomendation WOULD be Habbox Hosting which they could say

business is a funneh place and for a 13 year old i know alot about investments and advertising mainly as im a rich kid and have to know how to make a rich living for myself for when im 17 and leave home dont i lol

Yes sounds like a good compromise, but it would only work if a moderator such as yourself was able to update it quite often?

It would be better just making it so it's using a topsites script, just we don't link it to the forum as Habbox doesn't use any other features for the forum.

About the advertising thing, habbox already lets people advertise their websites in the Show off your websites forum, so technically thats advertising other fansites right?

Why not just edit that, and if you want web hosts go to webhostingtalk..

I don't see why we'd need to create an official page for other hosting? I mean we aren't dictators and refuse to let anyone else's to be advertized but we have stickied threads in the webdesign forum, if anything they'd have to pay to be advertized and not that many would I don't think. Also, we'd possibly be held responsible for the sites (even though we'd leave a warning that we weren't responsible somebody would complain about a site) we advertized which could have adverse consequences. Also I don't think users would enjoy ads all over the forum but the second is a good idea ;)
