hm you do realise if you go on a diet, and then lose your tum, if you start eating normally again it can have serious effects on you.

I did write a whole thing about dieting and exercise but it got deleted -_- I cba to write it again, tis there problem.

Dieting at a young age is harmfull and you shouldn't really consider it. Eating healthy foods with a normal amount of fats is a healthy, natural diet which is best for you and others who are teenage.

I wouldn't say serious , but its like a quick fix , you go on a diet , lose the weight , go back to normal eating and you put it on again.

Well if you want my honest opinion on how to loose weight:

Sat on the computer all day won't help, whenever I check users online I can see your name at the bottom of the Forum, whether it's 10am (like now) or 10pm. I dunno whether you are on all the time inbetween that because I'm not, but considering the time of your posts are frequent between them times then alot of time is probably spent infront of a computer.

This wont help because you are hardly burning many calories whilst sat on the computer ;) which is what causes you to loose weight. Eat healthy and well balanced meals and do alot of exercise. If you eat less calories than you burn (through exercise) then eventually you will begin to loose weight.

Another fairly easy way to lose weight is to drink more water. It'll stop cravings for food, as well as for sugary drinks like Coke. That won't help, though, without things like regular exercise.

The problem is that you're diabetic and lactose intolerant, which is fine, but I would seriously reccomend a quick appointment with your GP before any dramatic diet/lifestyle changes, just so he can advise you to do the right things for your body.

Go out for a run today, tommorow, the next day, the day after, drink lot's of water and eat healthily and what tastes nice.

Go to the gym if you can.

:) Slowly, but surely, you'll get more healthy.

Diets are stupid, just eat more healthily and do more exercise such as running.

I got to around 10 and a half stone, and decided i needed to take a few pounds off, i lost 2 stone, by tweaking my diet slightly.

On January i made a new years resolution: To drink only water, and have the odd fizzy drink as a kinda treat.

I drink around 5-6 liters of water, a day, because its hot i find myself drinking like 7-8. I go the gym every Tuesday, thursday, friday, and sometimes saturday, because its all free. I play football most sundays and sometimes during the week with friends.

I know that sounds alittle intense, but i do get days where im like " i cba wit the gym " and ill go out with friends or sit in.

Im emphising the point that, with little diet change, and a increase of exercise you'll lose weight. The average exercise resume to keep you healthy, is 3 times a week atleast for 30 mins, no matter what the exercise, it will keep you healthy.

And another thing, im not saying this because your a girl, but girls do have a obsession with how much they weight and look, personally i'd prefer a girl with a bit of meat on her, than a girl i can snap in half.

I don't agree with counting calories but you should cut down on the junk you eat and increase your cardio exercise. Join a gym perhaps, or do running as Mary said, you'll see great results running a mile a day.

So then why loose your 'tum'?
Dont sound fat..
Eat less, move around more - simple as that.

You are probably a decent weight. Whats the point in being really skinny? Maybe you should check your.. oh noes Lost the word. Its like body mass and it tells you give details like your height and weight and it will tell you if you are too skinny or a good weight etc. It's a good way too check.

You should consult your doctor before going on a diet esp. because you have diebetes. If your the second type Low-GI is good. But I'd see the doc and ask first

Foxy I really don't think she needs to see the doctors , diabetics can eat what they want if they inject and Vicky be serious with yourself ''Im 16, and im 7'9lb And im like 5'4/5'' doesn't take a rocket scientist know if thats good or bad.

''Im 16, and im 7'9lb And im like 5'4/5''

Lemme put that in perspective
My 5'6" female dancer friend weighs 9 st.

Your easily a fine weight. I'm personaly 5'9"/10 and i weigh close to 13st, but i am male so it may not be easy to put that into perspecitve as a female.

Oh and btw, most people have a little stomach, unless they work hardat it, which in the end isnt worth it.
But if it is bothering you i suggest some sit ups when you wake up, maybe 20 every day for about a month, and watch what you eat, it should add up to loosing what little stomach you probably have :)
