Since I have been thinking of starting an image upload site, in most hosts tos it says that you cannot have copyright or ****ographic images.
How could I stop people from uploading these things. I now I could stop from being sued by saying it somewere in my own tos but I can't stop my host taking down the site.

Does this mean I have to go dedicated or find a host that allows this?

There a quite a few site who alow ****ographic images as long as they are legal within the US, Canada and UK. However with the copyrighted images i doubt your host will know if they are copyrighted or not

So if someone complains I can just refer them to our tos and give them the ip that uploaded it?

You just remove the image from your system. Like tinypic do.
