Ah yes, good ol' skating alts. For the members who're pretty long on the forum will remember them. Yes, good old noobisch skating alts I made.
Today I was cleaning out my hard disk manually, and I run across these horrible alts, and I sed to myself: "Panda, be ashamed of having such bad alts, people expect better of you, and so do I expect better of you Panda!"
Being pretty mad at myself, so I recreated my Mini series
(These were never posted before) and the recreating is still in progress.
Just wanted to know what I could possibly chance on it.
The old Halfpipe is: original.png
The partly done Halfpipe is: new.png
hgp2.png is the new, new one :p
Ps: I already know about the bars.

I like the new one except for those squares. Remove the squares and add some bars at the top and it would look good.

lol "noobisch." You're so Dutch/Belgian/German/Whatever. The only thing that bothers me is that the new half pipe's surface doesn't look perfectly smooth. The horizontal lines are...blah.

Nothing near yor best. I'd say ad a bit more detail in the shading and such, yes, some bars on the top would look nice. No squares, either.

I will lighten the sqaures but I will not remove it ;)
If you ever saw a great halfpipe you'd see it is build out of several pieces of wood, not just one giant thing.
And I knew already about the bars, I was abit worried abotu my shading, and I will improve that ;)

I think the 'new' one looks brilliant. I think the only thing that nees imporving is the bottom bit, wood isnt that thin :S

Yes it is.
Search halfpipe on google.
2 Pixels width is way too much ;)

Very very good, as a lot of other people said, needs bars. Why dont you want ratings?

Because it's not finished, and I knew all along about the bars, I psoted it to see if the shading was right.
