Do you sit down at a Computer for hours and hours? If so please please, read on...

It is quite dangerous to keep still at a Computer for a long amount of time as you can damage your legs if you do not move for a while. So after every hour or two, walk around the house, get a drink, take the dog for a walk, walk up and down the stairs a few times - Just to make sure the blood is flowing around your legs propoley.

In the news about a year ago there was a story about a young boy who played his playstation for most of the day every day and then got some thing in his legs called deep vein thrombosis, or something like that.

This is not meant to scare you, it is meant to make you all aware of the fact that sitting down in one position for a long time can lead to long time damage.

Thanks for reading :)

I understand your point, but.. what happens when you sleep then?

That is a very good point you know, I also thought about that.

But there has been no health warning about that so I am positive that this does not affect you when you are asleep.

I think it has something to do wiht the fact that your body is recharging while you sleep so in a way there is activity or atleast some stimulation

Most of us do move in our sleep anyway so it does keep the blood flow going. Most of don't just sit still whilst we are on the comp anyway. I know I couldn't my *bum* starts to go numb.

I'm hardly ever in the same position when I'm on the computer. Mums always calling so I'm running downstairs a lot, and I just swing around and move about on my chair heaps.
So fidgety :o
