I agree Woodeh, Downing rocks. He said in the local paper he is just playing like any other game for Boro, so that is a very good thing :P

Although he is only playing one half, which is good, we need him for Bolton on Saturday (I'm going :D)

I thought the game was pretty boring and a lot of the big players didnt play well. Gerrard was ok but didnt do much, Lamps was invisible most of the time, beckham was terrible, and half i the time I couldnt tell if rooney wa son the pitch or not. SWP played ok but missed those sitters.

I didn't think Wright-Phillips played well at all. He was nervous, lost balls, didn't capitalise on chances.

Overall not good.

But anyone would be scared with their first England start, right?
