I really like that. It would be good for a Tutorial Website definatly. 9.9/10 +rep.
The bit above the main content where it connects with white from the header should go though.

9.5/10 Its well aligned good complimentary colours etc but -0.5 because as you scroll down it looks like somethings kinda missing below the nav but also pay attention to my sig and what it says about ratings

Does no-one understand that you have to use standard fonts? Standard fonts on photoshop do not come as out well, due to my settings.
You cant have ervytrhing on a website is a custom font.
And what horrible font? Its a professional font on the banner and headings.
Put it like this. Whose advice would I take? Ryans, or the good people? (No-one on here ;))

Yes the text is professional just personally i don't like it, if you like then keep it. i think the banner joining to the nav is a kool idea but maybee it needs ot be a bit darker in color becuase its hard too see.

It's a nice design Joe, and Joe is correct when you come to designs, youmust always use standard fonts - unless it is going to be placed as a graphic. The thing that needs touching up Joe is the actual "banner" - I suggest adding different effects to the font to try and make it stand out further.

My opinion. That spoils it.
I ruins the 'clean look'
It's an excellent layout.
Nice monochromic feel with the red. Brilliant.
8/10 +Rep.

Like the colours but i don't like the way it's set out and whats with everyone saying and moaning about the font if u code it you will have what ever font you want, hes just putting a standard basic font to show what itd look like with text.
