Wildy races?

Not my idea, I was reading from this thing on Runescape.com.
Basicaly. Around 5-10 of us start of in edgeville, you each pay a certain amount of money (This is the prize). You run up the wilderness, and first one to pull the ardy lever gets the money. Someone will be waiting by the lever in Ardy for the winner.
Teleporters will be disqualified. The people you are racing against can stop you, as well as pkers. You can use super energy potions and such.

Just wondering what you all think on this, if it goes down well. How about we organise one?

You can just cheat and tele to lvl 45 wildy with ancients though

Anyone who teleports will simply be disqualified.
We'll figure out if they do.

Here are some rules:

- Everybody will be teleblocked before we starts. If it's not possible, nobody will be teleblocked.
- If teleblocking isn't an option, no ancients is alowed, you have to prove this by casting a normal spell and showing your invent. You must have a full invent so you can't secretly have that new thingy to change to ancients.
- I win, no matter what. :P

We could have a race per lvl, so it'll be 0-20 20-40 40-60 60-80 80-100 100+

Except. The amount you have to pay depends on your agility level. Like 5k per 10 levels..

The cash part is gonna be hard, people will want their money back or won't pay, even though it's only a couple of k. =/

But that would make it hard.
Somone needs to not join in the race, allowing them to be stood at the end.

If one person came first, second place could argue they were first if theres nobody waiting at the end.

It's a bigger challenge on lvl 3's. (run to member gate and back, no food, f2p)

It'll always be hard, the person waiting at the end might be pk'ed and won't be able to make it back on time.

Couldn't you prove that you have no ancients on you, as someone posted, and then have someone trusty collect the money at edgeville, teleport to Ardounge, and wait at the entrance to see who gets there first. To stop them getting PKed just wait on the Ardounge side of the teleport.

Not to put a downer on this, but is everyone forgetting the teleporters in the wild? The ones that take you to random places?
Also, if you're teleblocked (which is easy to get out of) How can you use the Ardy teleport? :\

But yeah, there is too many ways to cheat really.

A few ways:
Kill other people
Get friends to kill other people
Get killed at an early stage, get someone waiting at Lumby with ancient teleport
Teleblock other people

There are ways to stop these, just listing a few random ways :P

If everyone's having a problem with teleblocks, we'll just say no teleblocks?
Is everyone happy with entangle's and such. Or can we say no to them too.
Anyone caught using them will be disqualified?
Only way you can stop someone is by killing them. Your choice if you want to or not, incase you're scared of getting skulled then losing your weapon.
