Big Brother has gone on holiday and has left an automated system to manage the housemates.
The Automated Big Brother System is passive, like a modern telephone automated switchboard.
Upon visiting the Diary Room this morning, housemates will find a large telephone keypad and the welcome message reading:
"Welcome to Automated Big Brother. Your visit may be recorded for training and security purposes. Big Brother is unavailable at present. In order for your visit to be handled more efficiently, please choose from one of the following options..."
The housemates can interact with the automated system using the telephone keypad and selecting from options presented to them via an audible menu.
The home-alone bunch will also receive delivery of a postcard explaining where Big Brother has gone and what the housemates have to do while Big Brother is away.
However, there is also a phone so housemates should expect to receive a call from Big Brother checking up on them.
