Kray Twins

Anyone heard or know anything about the krays?
The only book i've read from start to finish was their autobiography. Reg & Ron Kray: Our Story.
They were british gangsters (identical twins), could've gone on to be pro boxers, but they chose to be gangsters.
They ran their own firm etc..
They were gentlemen, and well respected in London, they grew up there - in Bethnal Green.
Anyway, they commited murder, Reg killed Jack 'The Hat' McVite and Ron killed George Cornell. They both got a minimum of 30 years. They both got sent to Parkhurst prison on the Isle Of White, but Ron was declared insane, and was moved to broadmoore. They are both now dead, Reg died in 2000 i think, gaining 2 weeks freedom. Anywayy, got carried away lol What i said may sound boring, but they are really interesting people. Try google them, or read more abvout them here.

Ron is the gay one, and he was only gay for a certain period of time. He married in Broadmoore (Mental Hospital) Reg died in 2000, Ron in I think 1993.

no that cant be ture, cause they never had a cousin apart from some guy callied ronnie, and he grassed them up to get a short sentence.
when they went down and got charged by the police everyone told all they knew so they wouldnt have to go to prison, no one remained loyal apart from 3 people, and they got 20 years.

The film 'The Krays' is wicked, shows a breif side to the proper cockney backround.

something about they kray twins was on kerrang radio last night. i doubt many people heard it cus like, you have to be in the midlands to actually get kerrang on an actual radio. but uh, there was two old guys on there and they were saying how the krays were pyschos and shouldn't be respected by anyone. -shrug- it was pretty intresting.

The Krays, depending on how you look at the world, are very easy to respect. They had power, money, they'd built it all up, they kept true to their roots, and of course, they loved their mum ;) If you look at it another way they were scummy thugs who were also "Mummy's boys".

Anyway I suggest you watch the film "The Krays", it's a good movie and shows pretty much most of their life from parts when they were growing up till parts when they're mother dies etc.
