:P Lmao, its good tho

Sorry but that's quite sad. There's a lot more 'good' and better things in the world than seeing 2 cartoon drawings of naked people with discriptions of what happens to you when you go through puberty, and if you think is in any way entertaining or amusing you seriously need to grow up.

I didn't exactly 'enjoy' sex education, but in the same way I didn't dislike it either. It just happened... nothing exciting.

It's boring.
I mean I know how to have sex ect ect. Even then, why would I want to know about a man and a woman having sex. Since approx 1 out of 10 people are gay theres probley 2 other people in my class having to sit and watch this when we wont need to know it as we wont be getting any woman preggers.

Lmao, that reminds me of a story... Well here I go:

We were all in year seven, young, immature and naive. Our teacher, dear old Mr Bath began our Sex Education! Of course, we were all very excited; we were eleven
Well, just before the bit we watched the birth, Mr Bath had to leave the room, when he came back he was like:
" :'( I missed it -cry-" So he rewound it so he could see it! :o

something beginning with m What you were seeing was actually marmite :D

The reason is so different between schools in the UK is because it's up to the individual schools what they do, and do not teach their students about sex during sex education, and how often they do these lessons.

There are some schools that have Sex Ed lessons every week, some that have a couple every year, and some that have very few.

On the UK curriculum it only covers about 2 or 4 science/biology lessons that have to be taught, about puberty, and sexual intercourse. This should happen between Year 5 and Year 8, I think.

This is the reason it's so bland, and works ineffectivly because it's the schools responsibility before Year 6, and after Year 8 as to whether they teach their students sex education, and what material they provide.

Who was that directed to? Who and why are they a paedo? Who and why is someone trying to be cool?

For once, I think this is a good topic, it is getting most of the members talking maturely about something that is considered important in life.

EDIT: I am guessing that was pointed to alteration? Yes he is immature, he makes up aload of crap about himself to seem cool, like when he said he tried coke. Which isn't cool "/

Sex ed is boring, since they don't teach you anything new. We saw the giving birth video in year 3, we had to have consent forums signed by our parents, then we had a brief "questions" lesson in year 5, then a few quick PSHE lessons in year 8, and another quick lesson in year 10. They taught us how to put johnnys on, and half the class already knew how :p The other half were the ones who giggled whenever a naked picture was shown

My sex education wasn't too good at either of my schools, it was very bland. We hardly had any lessons about sexual health, besides HIV AIDS and the use of condoms, which I think is important considering UK is one of the worst countries in Europe for sexual health.

Luckily, I have very open minded parents who were honest about every question I asked as a kid.
