If your trying to help at least get the termonology right. Watch your language btw.

And when you finnsish some art look at it.
Does it look like something you could put in habbo without it seeming out of place? Is it ugly to look at? Have you got the angles right?

Please go through that tutorials forum and give them a good read. No offence but it is clearly needed.

You could have lead him to thinking the wrong things and perhaps doing the wrong things in his pixel art.
