Lol last time I went on that, I was scared, not because of the ride 'experience' as it were; but because of the weird screeching noises it made as you went up and round... I thought it was going to fall apart!

I dunno, I really like Alton Towers and usually would jump to it's defence.. But yeah, they are lacking this year..

It's had its fair few.. hundred breakdowns :)

Mega hot is not an excuse for lacking in safety aspects. Too many people? - Alton Towers are used to having 50,000 on park each day!

Teenage staff? You have to be 16+ and out of education.. They take staff on at the beginning of the season. I know a few ride ops/hosts at Alton Towers, they are all friendly, nice and care about safety.

Yes, muppets get their phones out on Oblivion alot. Why do it? - Plenty of on-ride videos on the net. Ask the ride op, secure your camera.. Bingo, 99.9% of the time they will alow you to record.

oh yeah and most of those accidents were caused by the stupidity of the people an rarely becasue of the ride. Also that girl who 'claims' rita broke her wrists on rita is defo lieing. I mean i was at the front an u dont see my wrists in bandages do you...

However, if she had fell on it before and it wasn't broke.. Then the chances that the force provided by Rita contributed to it.
