The Thought has just come to me that if habbo was to shut down would we get our money back because if they did technicly they would be breaking the habbo way by taking all of our money then shuting down the site so what do you think will we recive checks through our front doors or will they keep all the money and give us nothing but a farewell email!!!! :eusa_booh

As one of the habbo's said Sulake does have the rite to delete your furni or your account

But when a company liquidises do you get your money back? It's tough.
Habbo is such a huge moneyspinner, it will only shut down if it runs into big money problems. So if it has money problems, your money can't be refunded as its been spent!
Remember ITV Digital? No people got their money back.
Courts (A furniture shop) went into administration, people couldn't get their deposits back.

It's just TOUGH.

I dont mind not getting my money back i mean we also spend a lot of money when we were childs (if you still are 1 you probably know where im talking about right now: )i mean we wasted money with things like yu-gi-oh or something like that and pokémon and digimon and what ever they have these day.
so this is the almost the same
and i dont think sulake will close for the next 100 years
i mean McDonalds never closed BMW never closed. I think sulake is making millions and millions of dollars (euros pounds what ever) not only because we are buying credits but they are also advertising movies. I think they also get money for that

Well of course if you read the terms and conditions ( which no-one does anyway) it says that sulake can basically close down habbo right this second if they wanted to.

I think it is impossible to give people their money back because some people got scammed so they have no proof they had furni or that account and they gave away lots of rares (I got a throne from callie during christmas)
so i dont think it is possible to give the money back
