That all started because of the 'Its a furni shop not a swap.' ' if you want it for its actual price, buy it from the catolouge' Wel duh if you had credits you'd get it from the cat. But concidering you don't you trade for it -.-...
Greedy people, i never ask for profit. if they want to give me it i'll take it obviously but why ask, it just cheeky.
OMG and them that say 'dont need it' Its a shop. just because you don't need it doesn't mean anybody else doesn't
If i get wound up i watch them trade a big item like a throne for say 25 hc then shout ' i offer 28 pure for your throne' just to make them feel gutted :)... And i think i'll shut up now i'm just going on talking about random shehieght.

Im not sure what shops brought this on but theres one particular shop owner who goes by the name of .:feliz:.
If theres going to be a prize for the biggest profit ***** of the game it has to be him
Im sure hes a nice guy but the way he runs his shop is appaling, i had to pay 3 rollers just for 1 bw skyline poster
Since that day i have always made sure to be reasonable with people offering profit as any profit is good profit and profit is a privilege not a right ;)
As long as they are polite to me and are not arrogant i return the favour with a smile and add a youre welcome on the end :)
Awww I give up on shops now ;( there so mean
For every bw skyline poster in UrbanSuburbia i had to pay twice as much as they are rather rare among shops, since then i have learnt to use my contact list as well as HxF's norm trading section to my advantage :P

That is possibly the second most irritating thing in a shop, would you go to M&S, queue up with your items, offer them your hard earned cash only for the snobby ho behind the counter to say 'sorry, we dont need that'
The most irritating thing is when they have friends behind the counter whispering to them and consulting them on whether they should take your offer or not
I remember a few weeks ago, in several shops i went to while selling a Holiday Romance for 4 pure and offering 0.5 profit as at the time the value was 4.5
Everytime i went, queued up, said what i needed and what i offered the friend behind the counter, after being consulted said 'nah dere lyk teh crap :(' and a side order of instant kick from the owner to add insult to injury
Bottom line is that the majority of furni shops are daylight robbery and to top it all run by arrogant ******s

I agree when you say about when they say dont need, that's what winds you up? What would you actually need for a shop, um everything possible?

Yeah this thread made me consider making one, but I can't be bothered. Good luck with it and I might pop along some time ;)

Oh yes, and like you say about the friend consulting and influancing the owners decision, they should make there own decisions because at the end of the day some of us have our own values, and differant opinions on what rares look good and what rares we should buy.

ARGHH!!! I was just in a shop, trading for 2 mode armchair - 6 credits, i offered 2 mode bars and he was like "OH AH NEED PROFFIT". It's ridiculous! How can you have profit on 6 credits worth of furni!!!
Fair enough if its rares dealing in thrones, but how anyone can be so petit to want profit on 6 credits is beyond me!!!
Its always the same nooby people that have the black baggy trousers, red hc jacket thing, flat hat and trainers, like dodgy looking casino owners :S
Grrr it gets right on my unsuitable words!
