i wondered if anyone uses floppy drives any more since the rise of cd-r and dvb-t thet it is more less common these days. i use a usb key an a ZIP disk mostly but sometimes for school I use a floppy disk sometimes occasionally

the new blue raye looks good but expensive its like $10000 for a disk i heard on the tv

anyone still floppy? :o

Nah I use memory sticks , I still have a portable floppy disk drive though , because my laptop and computer don't have built in floppy drives because floppy drives are too much in the past , but as I said I have a portable drive , I can plug in via usb but I don't use it , memory sticks ftw.

No, only to store things on when I need to print something off at school.

To get out of doing big homework essays (don't use for coursework - that's important):

Step 1} Insert a floppy disk into the floppy disk drive.
Step 2} Find an audio file small enough to fit on said disk.
Step 3} Rename the audio file to whatever the homework should have been called, and change the extension to ".txt" or ".doc" (if it's an audio file you actually want, do this with a copy of it).
Step 4} Put the newly changed file onto the floppy disk.
Step 5} Open it up on your teacher's computer to prove that you've done the work, and act very surprised when Word/Notepad opens with just a load of funny symbols.
