Hi.
Who do you think was/is the best WWE/WWF wrestler ever?

I'd go with Stone Cold or The Rock.

They were both funny as hell and were both great wrestlers.

I loved it when the sung together and when they were both in the Armagedden 6 man Hell In A Cell.

So who do you think was the best ever wrestler?

:$

The Rock is by far NOT the best WWE wrestler ever. He's the 90s John Cena. Using the same moves over and over to win a match. The best wrestler WWE has had would probably be Kurt Angle. He's a great mat technician and pulls off all of the moves he does extremely well.

Wow... If you didn't know, the "You Suck" chant made Kurt Angle as popular as he is? How does that make him disgraceful? Not to mention he was one of the best heels I've ever seen in the WWF/WWE. Of course you probably wouldn't know that since someone like you has only been watching wrestling since 2003.

Greatest wrestler of all time: The Immortal, Hulk Hogan!
My favourite wrestlers: The Rock! (I can do a good impression of him, Jabroni), Stone Cold Steve Austin!, Rey Mysterio Jr! (He owns), The Undertaker!
The wrestlers that i hate! : Eugene (He's cool and all but nick has a bad gimmick), The Hurricane (Seen it before with the Blue Blazer. And look what happened to him! He sadly died. RIP Owen Hart!), John Cena (Don't get me wrong he's a good wrestler. But he's over-rated.) Edge (Evil!)
Wrestlers that should return: Jeff Hardy (Thank gods he back!), Goldberg (He's very very impressive), Tajiri!, and one that some of you will disagree with but still i think Sean Waltman should return. Sean Waltman? He's known as X-Pac from ages ago when he was in the WWF and he returned as a member of the nWo as X-Pac. Now moved on he is Syxx-Pac in the NWA. He was great! His skills were good! He held the Tag Team titles THREE TIMES! With: Marty Jennety, Bob Holly (Hardcore Holly) And KANE! He was Crusierweight champ! And Europeon champ Twice! Very good record.

Kurt Angle > Rock.

Has the Rock ever wrestled in the olympics with a broken neck? No. Has Kurt? Yes. Has Kurt Angle wrestled several times whilst injured? Yes. Has the Rock? No.

You say the best wrestler, yet you say the Rock ~ only because he's entertaining? Wow, idiot. You should be looking at Talent, not "wrestlers" who sell all of their fans out and move onto doing movies.

Thankyou.

I know, it's like asking a 5 year old who their favourite wrestler is. They'd say they're their favourite because mummy & daddy brought them up to love them.

Look, there's the Rock!

Yeah, but if you get what I'm saying ~ they should decide who they like, not who their parents like. Thats what parents do, manipulate their childs minds into liking something, past experiences. It's funny, parents expect you to stay that way forever.

We say the best wrestler and we say the rock because yes he is entertaining (World Wrestling **ENTERTAINMENT**)

anyways so kurt angle isnt that good of a wrestler if he gets hurt all the time as wrestling is fake so he must get stuff wrong alot

If i had to pick a wrestler for talent as you said it wouldnt be kurt angle he wouldnt even come close but anyways if i would have to pick it would be Jeff Hardy because - well do you even need a reason

But my fav wrestler has to be: The Rock

If you wanted to know, The Rock worked most of his career through WWF (World Wrestling **FEDERATION**). This is a typical Rocky match: Punches, Kicks, Sharpshooter, Spinebuster, DDT, Rock Bottom, and People's Elbow. Jeff Hardy... you're kidding? He isn't any wrestler in my book. He's a Luchadorian. If you didn't know what that means, it's high-flying and high-paced action. He botches a lot of his moves anyway.

Ok fair point there wwf but it was still all about entertainment and thats why people like the rock. and ok i agree 100% the rock hasnt got the best in ring abilitys but his matches got better raiting than kurt angles, Here is a typcal kurt angle match: "You Suck Music" i believe the rock started that off with the whole making people shout that :P i could be wrong though but i am pretty sure it was anyways - Puches, Back Suplex, Belly 2 Belly Suplex, Angle Slam, Angle Lock - Great match dont get me wrong he is a fantastic wrestler but he comes out more hurt than his apponant and he is the one winning

Anyways yes jeff i chose jeff because it was my opinion so no i am not kidding and he is a wreslter otherwise he wouldnt be wrestling and i do know what a Luchadorian is as i have been watching wrestling for years now but thanks anyways just if you want to know why i picked jeff its because i would rather watch jeff hardy jump off a cage onto someone on a table than watch anything kurt angle could come up with in a match

And that is my opinion only so dont be all like your wrong because i am not as i think and believe it so :eusa_danc

I am sixteen years old and professional wrestling has been my life since I was four.
I will underline here and now the greatest WRESTLERS in WWE history:

- Kurt Angle
- Chris Benoit
- Dean Malenko
- Chris Jericho
- Ric Flair
- Eddie Guerrero
- Bret Hart

People like The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin are not great wrestlers, but are phenomenal entertainers.

Oh, and also, saying that Hulk Hogan is just another one of those entertainers is completely wrong and disrespectful. He was and still is used 99% of the time for entertainment purposes only in the WWE because he is the biggest draw in professional wrestling history, and in the mid 1980s to '90s, he was America's God. Hulk Hogan is the most legendary figure in history and anyone who wishes to dispute that needs a lesson in professional wrestling.

People need to see Hogan in Japan. He wrestled a technically sound and mat-based match against Keiji Mutoh, The Great Muta in 1993 at the Tokyo Dome with the WWF vs. AJPW event. Watch that match or any other Japanese contest featuring the Hulkster to see just how much of a great wrestler Hogan is/was.

Randy Orton is actually the youngest champion in WWE history.

Chris Masters is green as green can be in the ring. He was also on steroids hence his failing of the WWE Wellness Programme. Seen that picture of him at the OVW event last week? He's extremely deflated.

Im gonna have to disagree with you big time on the ones i bolded there.

Jeff & Matt - Sure they had good matches, but they haven't done enough to really be legendary, Jeff is a lot closer to being a legend than Matt though.

D-lo - Hasn't done anything special.

Jeff Jarrett - If your talking about WWE, he did nothing there except win IC Championships. In TNA he's an important figure, but he's not very good in the ring.

Orton - Needs a lot more time to becoming a legend, he's not very good in the ring although he's a good entertainer. Yes he's the youngest WHC in history, but WWE only gave it to him because he was HHH's friend. He got overpushed wayy too early.

Masters - Horrible in the ring as well, and now that he's off steroids, he looks horrible.

Just my opinion though. ;)

The term 'legend' is used so loosely and undeservedly. Jeff nor Matt will ever be classed as legends. An iconic tag team maybe, but not legends.

Owen Hart, Eddie Guerrero, they weren't/aren't legends. The people who throw around names like those know nothing.

Also, Orton is actually a very good pure athlete if you hadn't noticed.

I can't believe I only saw Foley mentioned twice o.O Mick Foley was an iconic figure in the WWF, I have no idea about WWE so whatever. Hogan was a god, and Stone Cold for pure entertainment. As for getting the crowd pumped before a match, out of New Age Outlaws or Jericho.

Ladies and Gentlemen,
Boys and girls,
children of all ages
D-Generation X, proudly brings to you,
The WWF taaaaaag team champions of the wooooorld,
The Road Dogg Jessie James, The Badass Builly Gunn,
The New, Age, Outlaws!
And if you're not down with that, we got two words for ya.....

Mick Foley. He can't actually wrestle but he can bump and is a 'hardcore' wrestling God. His promos are excellent, and thanks to his and Ric Flair's skill on the mic., they have had the feud of the year.

Oh yeah, I forgot Owen on there, he's not a legend, but he is quite important in WWE history, as he's the first ever wrestler to get a show dedicated to him.

Eddie is a legend. He's amazing in the ring, and can actually carry matches and can make young talent look good. He's a 1 time WWE Champion. (And would have been 2 time because the day he passed away he had a match with Batista and Orton for the WHC and Eddie was heavily rumoured to win since Batista needed surgery very badly) And he is a countless tag team champion and has had belts in ECW, WCW and WWE. And the way he overcame his demons, and finally won the title at No Way Out was simply a legendary moment.

Yes, Orton may be a good pure athlete, but he cannot carry matches by himself. If you saw his match against Hogan at Summerslam, Hogan carried the match with an injured leg and he's a lot older than Orton! That match was awful, and Orton did nothing to help the cause. I will agree that he is a good entertainer though.

Yeah but it's like movies too. People say "Oh so and so is a legendary actor"
and "So and so had a horrible movie".

Yeah so it's the same way with wrestling pretty much.

The next HOF we will see more people from the attitude era going in like Shawn Michels and Stone Cold maybe.
