Cutenews Help.

Hi, i need some help with cutenews. Ive got a host with php n all that, but im not sure how to install cutenews, pleople say its simple but i dont :o
What is the best php software to use to upload it, and is there any free. Also what is CHMOD?

i dont no if theres a free ftp program but search google for 1. i use global scape cute ftp and when it says CHMOD u click the file and hold Alt and press enter or right click and go down to CHMODD/Permissions and type in the numbers of wot it needs to be

I use smart ftp wich is free.

Aslo the easyist way to do it is,
1. exstract the cutenews zip.
2. drag the whole folder in to the ftp.
3. make shore every actaly uplaoded and it didnt stop, that sometimes happens whan u upload alot of files with smart ftp.
4. open the readme, and find the files u need to chmod.
5. to chmod just rightclik and select chmod or the equivlnt.
do that to all the files your told to.
The go to the what eva file u instlled it to
eg
www.domain.com/cutenews/

it will then tell u oif all chmodings right if it is, just follow the instutions, then remove the file it tells you at the end.

Cutenews should then be functing, just login and do what you want :D

You know the cutenews readme does include all of this and more, its just alot of people seem to be overlooking it at the moment.

Hi people it's me again. Ive have uploaded cutenews succesfully, but, wen i go to my site.com/cutenews it only comes up with the login page. I have made an account etc.. and i have added some active news, but how do i get the news to display on ,my home page?? Cn anybody help? Thanks.

theres used to be whois-onilne.net/cutenews :) But its gone and they stopped it so.. now there isnt ! Also anyone know anyother cutenews style systems I found Fusionsnews and Fusionphp.net.. So any others??
