Alton Towers bomb scare.

There was a bomb scare at Ugland at Alton Towers today, obviousaly Ugland was evacuated - Along with some of cred st.

I was there! I was in bleeding Maccie D's! This lady came up and said "Sorry we're having to evacuate" but they didn't tell us why! So me and my buds had to leave then we found a ncie spot on the grass THEN she came back up to us and said "You have to leave Cred St." so I was incredibly hungry at the time! by the time we actually got to eat our food it was stone cold!

We knew cause this kid ran out screaming "OMG! Theres a bomb!" LOL! It was funny! I was annoyed cause I wanted to go on Rita again, such a thrilling ride did you get to Oblivion at the end near closing time? 10 minutes the queue was! So someone had to mention "Its Final Destination people!" so my mate was already nervous so I said to the guy that said it "Be careful you don't wet your pants mate!" LOL! Good times!

One of my mates is a ride operator in Team Rita and he found the suspitious thing.. Cant really say anymore than that, soz.

Oblivion queue is always short for me, I just go to the exit.

Wow! I'd love to meet him lol! Yknow on Rita did you have five red lights THEN the bottom green lights came on at once or did you just get the 5 red lights one by one then the lady went "GO!". It doesn't half jerk your head back does it?

Security was nowhere to be seen, only Staffs police, Fire brigade and ride hosts/ops.

My mate (a rita op) ended up telling everyone to get out the effing area, rofl!

Yet another thing Thorpe Park beat Alton Towers with..

Alton Towers has very little, if any security presence..

Thorpe Park have very visable security, in police type uniforms. Infact, they have the same handcuffs as the police.

Not really, but acts as a deterant to trouble causers.

Plus, they don't think twice about handcuffing you and removing you from the park.. For the slightest thing of queue jumping, well cucumbers.

It does add to the security though, If someone became violent then they would actually come in handy, I guess thats what they're there for...
