I think for that alert it depends how you read it. 90% of the time online we read the "tone" of the text in the wrong way. If its a real screenshot I'm sure the mod will have meant the "sarcasm" in a joking way not offensive.

About the call for help, when you receive the alert saying:

"Thank you for reporting your problem. Please click on the Habbo, click the IGNORE button or leave the room. You have the power to make offensive chat disappear! Bwahahahahaha!"

It doesnt mean your call has been disregarded and moved on. The point is so you dont have to hear any more of the chat and also to make you understand that people will rarely get banned for swearing in a non-harassive context.

For example if you see someone saying (bobba would be the swear word) "bobba i hate homework" the user would most likely not be banned, in which case theres no point calling for help. Calling for help would only mean mods check the log and waste time. If you see something directed at someone in an offensive way that could be harassment, or if what is said is VERY offensive then you can report it as being harassment/extremely offensive/of a se.xual nature (dunno if that was filtered).

So to sum up :P Swearing calls are read even after you get that alert. Racism calls are deffinatly read.

Mild Swearing = IGNORE IGNORE IGNORE
Abusive Swearing = Call for help
Harassment = Call for help
Racism = Call for help
Flooding = Ignore
Scamming = Call for help
Blocking = Do something else until they go away.

My opinion is that the MOD's (None in particular) are saying do what you like we wont ban you.

Yeah fine, they might look at the chatlog after the alert has been sent - Why send it in the first place?

All they have too do is spend 60 seconds looking at our alerts in moderator logs in HK to know that we've had the alert a billion times before.

Tried complaining to Sulake, they just send a email back saying REMEMBER YOU HAVE THE POWER TO IGNORE! Bleh bleh bloooody bleh!

The alert is sent, like i said in the last post, so you click ignore and have no more offensive chat for you to view.

No matter how many times users are alerted with the use ignore, most of them are still reporting for flooders, low level swearing, blockers etc. If we all use ignore for swearing that dosnt really harm anyone its faster than sending a call for help and waiting for a ban and it also allows moderators to check other logs which could actually be dangerous to people in real life. E.g. people arranging to meet up, harassment is another, racism is as well.

The more people that use ignore instead of calling for help = the faster real calls for help get answered.

Well, I understand what your saying now.

Even though we get that alert, it doesn't mean that the call has been thrown out the window, and is still being "investigated" if you like.

Although sending the alert no matter how you send it, be it with a macro using a tool on the habbo client or through housekeeping is wasting time which could be used on a more important call. For example people arranging to meet up.

The first time this ignore thing started, I thought that was the end of the matter.. However even 10 minutes after I got that alert tonight after being told to do something not very nice with my mum they where still in the room.

Think of how many calls for help a mod might get in a day, they don't have time to spend ages on each little problem.
Ignore is the most easy way to shut the person up. Just tell them youve put them on ignore & they will shut up...

The only MOD that has bothered to check the logs with this new stupid ignore system is MOD-Alpha and MOD-Pants.

You'll find that all mods check the logs for the new system. As said already in 3 of the posts made by me and again by Heidi in your email, you are alerted and then they are still checked.

If it happens to be in a one off you were alerted and the person reading the log didnt see the remark then it happens. Everyone misreads or overlooks text when reading them. Until you actually have moderated the Hotel you can not know whether mods are laze or whether they do nothing but say click ignore.

Its your own choice that you ignore or dismiss comments in here from people saying they have been banned, from moderators and from the community manager.

On Fuddle I got banned 3 times in 2 days so.. Its not that rare.

I wouldn't ring the old bill for any of them reasons.

But.. The CFH/Moderators are not police officers are they? - They are there to HELP.

We do not have to put up with listening to rasict comments from pathetic habbo's, therefor a moderator should take some kind of action.. Just like the old bill would in real life (You'd get arrested)

It's pretty much a random probability whether you get banned or not. If you're unlucky, you'll get a MOD who does read the chat log, if you're lucky [which you probably will be] you wont even get a warning =]

BUTTT: A little bit of sympathy for the MODs here, How would you like to read through pages and pages and pages of chat looking for swearwords?
