My entry for all around the world - Welcome to Wales

[Catzsy]

The theme represents the colours and content of the flag,
As Glyn from Big Brother is from Wales and the room is designed to be a Welsh room within the BB house so the screens are the balcony and the pura lights are the television lights. The Habbo colas represent Big Brother watching. The oil lamps represent the miners lamps and the red telephone box is there because the Dr. Who televison series is made in Wales. Lastly the rainforest posters are there because Wales is very green and
everybody says it rains all the time but it is not true. Well not all the time! :)
Nikki is being played by Humiliated! Rate and Slate plz.

Sorry to sound like the bad guy but im not liking the shadow screens, their greyness look rather hideous and let the room down a bit. The cola machines are kind of a nice touch but i start to think when i look at them, "They look nothing like big brother :S" but i guess its the effort that counts. Green dragons may have looked nicer, or a variation of green/red dragons, oh and the teleport stands out a bit, as does the greek pillar...Greek isnt really related to welsh people is it? :P

Overall room score: 9/10
I wouldve gave it a 8/10 but i couldnt as the stacking was quite good. Good luck in the contest as some of the other entries ive seen are formidable foes indeed.

Thanks as well Pyroka for the gr8 rating. The colas seemed to have faces and the interpretation is relative as far as the shadow screens are concerned their description is 'from deep inside the dragons cave' which seemed pretty apt. Yea i agree about the greek pillars but i needed white and Wales in quite multi-culteral! I'm sure that there are some really awesome rooms around and I enjoyed making it which is all that really matters.

Visually, at first, it doesn't shout "Wales" to me. However, a great amount of thought has been put into this room, and it shows through the symbolism. I didn not understand the reasoning for some of the things in the room until you explained their symbolic meaning.

Very well thought out with deep meanings behind the furni you've chosen. Good luck in the competition. Nice bit of eye-candy. 9/10 (because nothing's perfect). ^_^
