Has Anybody Ever Tried Abasynth? (alcohol 100%)

I was just wondering if anybody has ever tried abasynth its so strong like title says its 100% strong burns its ucky if you drunk a shot of that that would knock you out for sure!

The highest percentage of pure alcohol I've ever consumed was a 375mls (a pint) of smirnoff 40% vodka.

Woe is me.

Still don't remember half of that night, and got sick the entire next day (even though people have consumed way before me before and are unaffected).

I'm a very bad drinker and cannot handle alcohol at all.

im the opposite im 15 can drink anything and as much as i like and wont feel nothing really never wake up with hangovers etc. its great but costs me a fortune to get drunk XD

I havn't but i've got some bottles from Cyprus and there like 95% which is disgusting, it burns when you have a dropfull.

lol it isn't 100%. I have had 89.9% abasynth and it burns your insides and after 5 shots i started seeing things, i don't recommend it.

Yeh it would kill you, as your body wouldnt break down the concentrated ethanol so remains in the body which leads to death.

My mum has had it before when we were in spain. I was next to her and smelt well strong. Its not 100% lol. As someone has said, its around 70%. Where ever i have gone, i always see it as around 70% not 100%.

100% alcohol is poisonous I think, but it wouldnt kill you if just took a few sips, a shot of it might kill you. Also, moonshine was 100% alcohol too, anyone ever tried that? Lol.

It's spelled differently in different parts of the world.
Absynth, absinth, absynthe, absinthe are all correct.
And no, it's not 100% at all.
Most of the stuff you get in bars (in england anyway) is around 60-70%.
I've tried it, not that many times though, as it's a whopping £3.50 a shot (!!!!)

70% is still pretty high, highest percent I've ever had is like 40% er maybe a bit more, but that's still pretty strong, so I don't think I'd be able to drink 70%, I'd probably puke.

I've never tried absyth or what ever it is, the strongest I've had is 80% white rum, which I drank neat (by itself) and that burnt my insides etc., 2hrs of drinking that stuff and half a bottle later I was out cold, my friends thought I'd died at one point, but now even the thought of white rum makes me feel sick.:eusa_wall
