Why does everyone with a forum make a big thing of VB, i find it a real put off now, mainly becuse vb realy isnt anything particlay specal?

I dont see the big deal really either. Except that people have to pay for them, or risk their site being shut down by using an illegal version.

vBulletin's are just expensive, it is a waste to spend that much for a site.

amazingly put - im happy using phpBB while no-one is visiting i suppose if a site is getting big you do need better hosts but there are plenty out there!!!

PhpBB are rubbish. No offence. But vBulletin is far the best, I'd have to say it is the only one you cant get free.

Thats what I was thinking about. Maybe use www.invisionfree.com instead of myfreebb or whatever, and when you are ready buy a vbulletin forum and tell everyone to join the new forum. Worked for me. With around 3 users :p
But as its vBulletin I think thats the reason more people like it and stuff.
