ok, see the line i dont get it, when i click the little edit button on my ie 2 view the page in HTML on the layouts it shows the line (i have attached it) what is it called? and how do i get it? for example, in frontpage? or what :eusa_thin im tottaly confuzzled

i think it is used 2 put layouts together, but im not entirely sure, thats why im asking u use it on thybag mentor!

I do? as in which part?
if its the Boared stats bit at the bottom then its a dashed line, wich si doen with a bit of css
border: 1px dotted gray;
(dont have 2 be grey)
If thats not what you ment please explain thuther

ok when i click the little frontpage edit thing in "normal" mode it shows this as the layout...

Oh, i thoght he was refering to teh effect shown on teh web, not the lines added in to a program to show tables.
Ive never used front page so i dont realy know where you would find them :/
In dw its in the insert tool bar, and under the pic of a grid, or u could just hand code them in in code veiw

As in just write the html

for the most basic table
or a littel more complex

I got side tracked about half way threw so i rushed and missed a bit out, still if u wnat a basic table u have a useless single celled on and one with 4 cells. :D
athogh i neva got on 2 it they were just exspanles of table code

hmmmm ok i knew bout the tabbles, but as i had the tables on a white background, it looked diffrent, but how come (again in frontpage) u cant see writing? strange dont u think...
