DS browser to hit Europe this fall
Oslo, Norway - August 8, 2006
Opera Software today announced that the Opera Web browser for Nintendo DS will be released in Europe on October 6, 2006. The Nintendo DS browser powered by Opera enables full Web surfing from portable Nintendo DS gaming devices. Taking advantage of the DS's WiFi capabilities, the DS browser allows users to access the full Internet, including webmail and secure banking sites. Nintendo of Europe has also partnered with Astaro to provide an optional filter to block inappropriate content for underage surfers.
