Is it possible to have an option so you don't view them? Because I like to go on New Posts without having 20 announcements plus in my face because I havent viewed them ;)

Nah, that option isn't available. I'd rather that permission to make them was taken away.

Admins/staff don't normally use announcements they just use the 'Announcements' forum to announce things.. so it should be taken off completely IMO.

Yeah I know, at least they have been removed now (the ones that were there) I did one a few days ago but that was out of curiousity.
