if you don't know who ville valo is; he is the lead singer for the finnish band - HIM

personally i think he is way to self centered and a control freak. he is always doing photo shoots on his own - fgs why not with the band? also he smokes on stage, in videos and in photo shoots. i don't dislike him smoking as i smoke a little bit too but it's the fact of how much he does it and how he smokes at in appropreate(sp?) times.

well i guess i'm baised cos i am a big fan of HIM, but tbh, i don't think ville actually chooses to do those photoshoots on his own. i mean, ville is what you would call 'hawt' to all the teenyboppers, whereas the rest of the band well...aren't. it's just giving the public what they want basically.
and you can't judge him as a person as none of you know him so yeah.
there's my two cents.

Well I wouldnt say "teenyboppers" because it's quite obvious that he's attractive, but on that note I agree, I'm sure he doesn't actually want them.

I used to be into HIM alot, I remember seeing them live and crying (HAH) I'm quite glad to say that was a long time ago.. well that's my excuse anyways.
I'm not gunna go and say "omggzz i hate them they're stuff has changed so much" because quite frankly it hasn't. Guess I just don't like them as much. As for looking factor, I do have a Ville poster right above my bed.. what a looker he is indeed. :p*

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so it's impossible to decide for everyone that this individual is universally attractive, ergo, the whole situation because not so obvious. ;p

I used to listen to HIM. Not religiously, just occasionally. There were a couple of good songs, but I found most to be almost reiterations of past songs, so they were quick to bore me. HIM is not actually popular for its musical talent, but for Ville Valo. He's the candy, and all you need is an easily amused audience, and voila, fame. Although I don't agree with his decision to promote his band in such a way, it's only giving the audience what they want.

Well yes, beauty IS in the eye of the beholder, I generally meant to say that saying all the teenyboppers think he's hot isn't really true?

As for him being the candy, yep too true.. and I'm sure HIM wouldn't be as famous if it wasn't for his looks, but that's all too true with many other bands. Sad to think it's just a case of giving the public what they want.. but, eh. that's the music business.

I like some of their songs but to be honest we only see the side that he shows to the public so he could be different out of that eye. so we cant really judge him with like all the other celebs to,they all act different when in front of a cam
