Girls are usually mature before boys are with a difference of about 3 years (A 13 year old girl would act like a 16 year old boy). I have a friend who is going out with someone in Year 13, she's in Year 10 now.

Well I don't think it's for us to say, as deep down you'll know personally whether or not you believe you are too young for him. If you feel you are yet you just go with him because we tell you to, the relationship will be a disaster, and likewise if you wan't to go with him, but don't because of what we or your friends say, you'll completely regret it later on.
Personally, I believe that age difference is fine, and I know a lot of people who have been out with older guys at your age.

Its difficult. As he's older he may want something more... but, if he truley respects you, the age shouldn't make a diffrence, just look at your parents, more have about 3-4 years between them, thats not too wierd is it? Good luck to the both of you.

Just make sure you stay friends if you ever split up. It's better to stay friends than to go out with someone for 3 months and not be friends after. Just make sure you can be friends. ;) But yeah go out with him if you are in love with each other.

Age differance shouldn't be a problem if you are both happy, although don't rush into things and if you don't think it will work don't date him as you could even lose your friendship aswell as your relationship.

A few of my chums go around doing 13/14 year olds (they're 16) and so becuase of my nature I make fun of them on a regular basis. It's fine for the girl, it's the blokes who'll get stick for it if anything.

I love Ostinato posts, as they usually cover what needs to be said.
As long as you feel comfortable doing so, and you do not feel pressure, than I say go for it.
I was 15 when I was going out with a girl who was 17 so it's no big deal I found :p I was just flattered an older girl would like me, but yeah, maybe it's different because I was the guy.
At the end of the day, there is no age restriction, it's what you feel comfortable with.

Thanks.. I will ask him out when I see him next which will be tomorrow night. We both get on alright.. but if he starts asking for stuff.. which I think is a bit um.. not proper [thats the only way i can put it] for my age then its over.. but I want to be friends, because we have been since ages ago.

I said to him 'What would you say if I said I liked you?' And he said he said I love you and we hugged.. aww.. he is so sweet and I'm glad I asked him out.

Well aslong as your sure he isn't using you for the 3 letter word that rhymes with ex.
Because guys his age will feel they'll need to start doing that stuff and feel pressured by friends to do it.
Goodluck though.
