Well, if that was the case, then when you buy VIP, why does it say something like "This will go towards paying for extremely costly forum"?

It Mean It Will Go TO Pay For the Host which is Probably About £1 - £26 A Month And Domain £6 - £10 A Year And Radio £3.50 - £35 A Month

Although I'm not absolutely certain, I think ur wrong scott :(

See, there are 2 different domain names, 2 different websites.

If the forum was www.habbox.com/forum then it would be included but here there are two different domains, www.habboxforum.com and www.habbox.com and their payed for seperately as is the radio.

As for Habbox US, they are completely unrelated in terms of hosting, their forum uses a different host though Im not sure about the main site and those sites are paid for seperately. But as for how much it costs, all I can say is alot!!!

A vBulletin forum costs £130 to buy and I think £30 a year with upgrades etc etc.

Thats why most forums are IPB because they are cheaper.

Webhosting isn't that much the only one I know does it for £14 a year.

Vbulletin costs tons - I assure you :P

Then theres hosting, bearing in mind the huuuuuge amount of bandwidth popular forums use, then theres the radio, again owned by Jrh2002, radios again use huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge amounts of bandwidth.

More bandwidth = more money.

i dont know if tht is right but tht is wot i heard

tis true what mentor says

Some hosting companies can buy Vbulletin in large quantities.

Like dreamweaver. If you buy 1 single dreamweaver it will cost you £300 buy 80 licenses you can get em at £40 each.

Same with hosts. they will give you vb for free as they may use it as an advertising technique or because their costs are all paid for by either google advertising or people buying their host plans

if it was www.habbox.com/forum it would be an add-on domain!!!
