School Or Work?

Okay, I've been thinking about this for quite a while now, well, for about a year. I've decided I would rather work than go to school. The main reasons for this is because I am quite sick and tired of the same routine of going to school, and I desire a new lifestyle. I know I can't just drop school because I need the grades for a job, but I would rather go to work than go to school. How about you?

That's exactly how I feel. I really can't be bothered to do my exams, since I know I will do rubbish in them, like in the mocks last year.

Only problem is my new tutor [we had her in year 10 as Mr Blair left in year 9] is a witch. shes just ARGH. and you have to spend half the day with her :(

Work, going to work experience was one of the best things i remember that school made me do, but i guess you have to enjoy the work!

School. If you go to work, you have to earn your own money and you don't get school holidays. So what if there's a couple of exams and all, it's just to test your knowledge, that's all.

Work. Not because of the income, but if you find one that you really want, it can be very fun ;)

I do both school, work and collage (Vocational Course)
And trust me, schools better than work, schools a more relaxed environment. At work you don't get a choice, you HAVE to do something or you get fired. At school, if you don't do something most of the time you get let off, or a little detention.
I'd much rather do three days school and give up work.
Plus, your not at school for that long, if you think about how many years you work for, day in day out. It gets old, fast.

School is so much better you should enjoy it while your there!

Working means 9-5 everyday in most cases, no 6 weeks holiday etc and if your earning money you also have to pay bills. You are at school for about 14 years? (more if you go to uni) and then you will work for about 40+ years!! so just make the most of it while you are there, it will go quickly!
