I promised I would get up early,
but I woke up late...

I promised I'd brush my teeth twice,
but I only did it once.

I promised I wouldn't have any soda,
but that Coca-Cola looked delicious.

I let myself down today,
I promised I'd be a good person,
but I hurt my best friend's feelings.

I promised myself I wouldn't eat too much,
but I got really hungry.

I let myself down,
I promised I wouldn't weigh too much,
but I'm just zooming down that path..

I let myself down,
I promised I'd have great teeth,
but I might turn out like the old woman who lost her teeth.

I let myself down,
I promised I would be the best I can be,
but every day I'm the worst.

I let myself down,
I promised I would keep my promises..
But somehow, they get broken.

and I really wish I hadn't.

Why does it change from I let myself down today to just I let myself down. Also it's pretty rubbish in my opinion. Please spend more than 2 minutes writing poetry ‹/3

wow i totally forgot i even posted this. very old. xD i know, i spent barely any time on this. :P i just got bored so yeah. i know its rubbish, thanks. ;P
