OK, So this week Ian Huntley (Sohm muderer) tried to kill himself yet again. Personally, I think he is trying to get the easy way out. I think he should be left to rot in jail and make sure his life is permantly missrable, just like he has made the family's of Holly and Jessica.

He should be left to rot in jail. They should put in a empty cell with no bed or anything and feed him on bread & water for the rest of his life.

He should be kept locked up, killing him would give him what he wants, and he lost that right when he killed those girls. Although, I will probably resent paying for his keeping in prison with taxes when I start to work.

I can't see why he is taking the easy way out, He'll be dead.. Gone..

Unless you believe in afterlife then its a different story

On one hand I should say left in jail, on the other he is wasting perfectly good resorces on people who deserve to have a life after prison.

I'd keep him alive in prison, give him a good kick-in occasionally. They can't let him kill himself.

I agree with you there

I must say I'm a believer in the death sentance if its used in the right matters, Prisons should be used, as you said for people who deserve a life after prison.

Serve his time. He's meant to do that, and so he should.

He should be left in Jail, he's not worthy of being able to end his life after what he did o_o.

He doesn't deserve the chance and the right of taking his own life to escape from the problem. He needs to face up to exactly what he's done and have remorse for it and come out and apologise to the girls parents.

He's just a coward who's trying to get out of it.

I think his sentence is about 45 years, they should let him serve 40 and then execute him.

If you where holy or jessica's parents, would you even go near him? Or even give him the time of day? ;X

What i don't get is, the jail are giving him anti-depressants!
Why?
He's a murdering, sadistic paedophile, he deserves all the depression he gets.

either way it's not going to bring the two girl's back, with evreyone talking about it and paying attention to him, it's just giving him what he want's..

Maybe, but the more we talk about it, the more people are reminded of what a sicko he is.

A life sentence isn't literally a life sentence, it's like 30 years.

Life sentances in this country are anything over 25 years i think. Which is ridiculous, people like him should be in there for LIFE, Not a quarter of it -.-

Let him kill himself then, Later on in life you don't really want a man like that wandering the streets..

Yeh life can be from 15 years aswell. Thats how bad some of the sentances are for peados who shouldn't be let out ever again.

It really does defeat the object of the word life in "life sentence".

No they should let him serve 44 years 364 days and say 'Sorry mate you're not going home, you're going to be executed'.

He should have a tiny cell, should serve more than 45 years, basic food, and then to top it off, have all the stuff he needs to kill himself just out of reach. Then execute him when hes served most of his sentence

Lets face it - the whole prison system is completely mucked up. A life sentence? Last time I checked, life generally lasts longer than 25 years. Prison is more like a holiday camp rather than punishment for a crime, they get cable tv, heating, a comfortable bed, a tv... a lot more than people who havn't even commited crimes get!

I agree with Seacat. He should serve his sentence then be executed - he needs punishment but this world doesn't need people like him in it.

Hes a weirdo and should be left to ROT for the rest of his life...:(

If only eh? The death sentance is something that never bothers me, they always deserve it. And technically we do have the death sentance, but thats only if you try to kill the queen, aka high treason =X

Couldn't we do a deal with old Bushy and move him to Texas where we can legally execute him?

##EDIT: - 4000 POST!

Yes I agree.

The death sentance is usually 99% fair, They only do it unless they have definate proof that the person did commit the crime and deserve it.
