I used to run a competition in the Graphics forum called 'graphic of the week', where peple would enter their own graphics, and I would run a poll and the winner of the poll would recieve a prize, etc.
I thought this could be similarly achieved with lyrics. For all of you who write songs, you could send me your songs via PM or whatever, and I choose the best line out of each song for the poll. Then I open a thread where people can vote on their favourite lyric of the month. Then the lyricist who gets the most votes wins.
Let me know what you think of this idea.
