Yeah, thats pretty rubbish espeically since they can focus bans on people clearly scamming in trade rooms or casinos

Im presuming that your "mate" was removed as what he/she said clashed with the Habbo Way, you must know that your going to get caught if you say things like that in the first place.

Your friend was banned as what he/she said clashed with the one or more Habbo Way regulations bellow:

- Do not describe sexual acts to other Habbos

Easo why are you trying to be all posh on this name? Its rather stupid and lame..

Yes I agree, if you didn't say it who's to say you knew the person saying -**** s- behind you!

Appeal the ban, chatlogs do not show locations in the room, unless you encouraged the conversation which I have a feeling is the case ;)

How long was the ban? I gather it's for a week or longer

You could appeal, but you might not get you unbanned, it depends what you said...

If you said nothing that encouraged what your "mate" was saying, (as James said,) you should most certainly appeal. If you endorsed and reacted to his behaviour, then it's a different matter. But if the behaviour was him and only him, then you should appeal, yaa.

As for the toilet incident.. "does business" is an ambiguous phrase, and I don't see how a "sexually explicit" link can clearly be made. I fear it has been the Moderator's understanding of the phrase only. What concerns me is the usual use for that phrase refers to, quite simply... excrement, poo, whatever you want to call it. I fail to see how that's sexually explicit. Vulgar, possibly (but then again, how many Habbos say "brb, going for a poo"? [Not me - brb suffices. ^_^]). Just makes me wonder what the Moderator was thinking when he/she saw "does business" as being sexually explicit. (And of course we can't go down that route due to forum rules.) Only they will know! :)

Anyway, Moderators are Moderators, a ban is a ban, and we can only guess at their reasoning. Anyway, to the OP: appeal if you know in your own mind it's an unfair ban. You don't need to reply back here saying "actually, I said XYZ so I needn't appeal, as I know it was sortof my fault", because you know if you did something wrong or not - and we don't need to know if you don't wish to tell us. Appeal with a sufficient explanation, cross your fingers and wait. :)
