What is Habbox?
Habbox is a habbo fansite. Habbox has a range of features for information, fun, and other stuff about habbo, including, News of Habbo UK, US, and international. It even has news about real life aswell, it also has guides to habbo, and even a feature of Habbo Friends.
Habbox forum, is the forum for habbox. Powered by vBulletin version 3.0.7 but it may be upgraded to later versions when they are created. The forum has a range of forums for Habbo and Habbox also from Forum Rules and Announcements, to VIP-Sub forums and other stuff. Categories are shown below.

Forum Rules
General Forum Rules:
1. Respect other people's views - Everyone has different views on different topics, respect their views as you would expect them to respect yours.
2. Don't swear - It really is as simple as it sounds. The forum filter will substitute the letters of swear words with *-signs. However some words might not have been censored as of yet, and are not suitable on this forum. It is not allowed to try to avoid the swearing filter or to post any swearing that does not come up as ****
3. Don't give your msn or email or ask for somebody else's - To protect people from getting hacked, it's strictly forbidden to tell your msn or email or ask for somebody else's msn or email. If you need to contact somebody send them a Personal Message. The only emails that you are allowed to mention are the @habbox.com emails that can be found on the Habbox site.
4. As forum name use the exact same name as your Habbo name - If you have more than one Habbo name, your forum name has to be the same as one of them. If it is not we will change your forum name to your Habbo name. An exception to this rule is when you become a Habbox VIP, then you may change your Forum name to any name that you want, as long as it is acceptable by us.
5. Do not post anything that can be considered as being rude or insulting towards people working for Habbox - We don't allow any form of abuse, but are extra sensitive when it comes to abuse towards Habbox Staff. THIS INCLUDES IN REPUTATION COMMENTS!
6. Do not post your photo anywhere on the forum - The reason for this is your safety as some people may start stalking you pretending to be something that they are not.
7. Don't imposter anybody from Habbo or Habbox - It is not allowed to pretend to be somebody that you are not, this includes VIP members using Habbox job titles or similar titles that make them look like Habbox staff.
8. Do not pretend to work for Habbox when this is not the case - Don't suggest in any way that you are working for Habbox, not on this forum or on Habbo or anywhere else.
9. Don't sell or buy Habbo accounts - Because the original owner can always get his old habbo back with the original email entered when the habbo was created, it is strictly forbidden to sell or buy Habbo accounts. Trading rares for credits is at your own risk.
10. Don't ask for free furni, credits or anything else - This includes asking for free furni for giveaways.
11. Do not name anybody for hacking, scripting, trashing or any other bad things - Because we don't want innocent people being accused of illegal activities, we don't allow accusing others at all. This means it's also NOT allowed to accuse hobbas or Habbo Staff of abusing their powers or anything else. Also posting any images of people is NOT proof of them doing anything wrong as it could be an alteration.
12. Do not post any (links to) texts or websites that contain information about how to conduct activities, that are considered illegal by Habbohotel - This means you are not allowed to give any information about scripting, hacking or scamming and anybody found doing so will be banned and may be reported to any relevant authorities.
13. Do not advertise any websites that are Anti Habbox or have Anti Habbox content - This includes other forums or comments due to poorly moderated sites.
14. Do not post anything offensive about other sites - This includes sites that have anti habbox content. It is strictly forbidden to ask or talk about flooding, hacking or damaging any website in any way.
Shoutbox Rules:
15. Don't flood the Shoutbox - Don't post the same message more than once within five minutes.
16. Do not post pointless messages in the shoutbox - This means lots of smilies or letters etc.
17. Do not post links to any websites that encourage breaking the Habbo Way - This includes Scripting, Scamming and hacking site, breaking this rule is a instant forum ban
Personal Message Rules:
18. Don't send Personal Messages to Habbox Staff or Hobbas that they haven't asked for - Do not ask for friend requests or anything else. If you need urgent help on Habbo Hotel use the call for help button and wait in your room.
19. Do not use Personal Messages for advertising - It is very annoying to receive spam off people.
20. Do not send abuse, threats or any othe kind of bullying to anybody - We have the ability to read any personal message sent on the forum but we will only do this in extreme circumstances, by using our personal messaging you agree for us to be able to check your personal messages if we receive complaints about abuse or bullying of any kind, depending on how serious we think the matter is we may report it to the relevant authorities.
Forum Thread Rules:
21. Don't post for the sake of your post count - It's always nice to have a high post count, it may seem as though people will respect you more with a higher number beside your name - but it doesn't really mean anything on these forums. We respect each of you whether you have 1 post or 1000. If we think you are posting for the sake of your rank, we will assign you your very own rank: 'Ridiculous Poster'.
22. Don't post short or meaningless messages - We don't want replies like "i dono" or "why" or "yeah". We have set the forum so that any message must contain at least 9 characters, do not try to get around this by adding meaningless characters.
23. Don't post messages containing more than 15 smileys - This causes a lot of lag and is annoying for people with a slower internet connection.
24. Don't double post - Don't post two or more messages in a row. If you need to write something else, simply edit your post which you can do by clicking the icon in the top right corner of your message. This also means you cannot use the "Quote" option twice in a row.
25. Don't post any obscene or offending alterations - This includes gory alterations or alterations containing a lot of blood, and also holds for avatars and signatures, the main reason for this is due to the varied age range of habbox members.
26. Let Administrators and Moderators deal with any posts breaking the forum rules or any other problems concerning the forum rules - Do not post a message in which you tell another forum member they have broken the forum rules. Don't post a message in which you ask for another forum member to get banned or unbanned. If you think there has been a rule broken, click on the "Report Bad Post" icon at the top right of that post and explain the problem. If your problem is not about one particular post, you can also post a message in the "Report Abuse" forum with a brief description and some details of the problem (add a link if possible) then we will look into it.
27. Do not abuse the "Report Bad Post" button - Anybody who abuses this option on posts with which nothing is wrong will find themselves in trouble.
28. Do not ignore a Moderator's warning - Due to certain people not respecting our hard working staff we have now introduced a temporary ban for less severe cases but after one temporary ban the next ban you will receive is a permanent one. if you discover you are banned check your email that you have registered with and you will have an explanation why and for how long you have been banned.
29. When in the competition forum only post competition entries - Do not post questions or comments it is not the place to do so.
30. When posting in the news and rumours forum do not post things that you know are not true - This includes posting fake screenshots and your own made up stories.
31. Do not post any advertisments for anything illegal or what would be considered inappropriate for anybody from 11 years old upwards - Habbo Hotel is aimed at people aged 11 years old or over so we do not want anything to offend anybody in anyway.
32. Only give reputation points for posts that deserve them - There are many reasons to give good reputation points. The post may have helped you, had been well written or be a very good reply. Anybody asking for reputation points in posts or giving rep points to others just because its a friend or negative reputation points just because you don't like somebody will not be tolerated. Anybody caught doing this may get a big reduction to their rep points or worse!

How Do I Register?

How Do I Post?
Ok, once you have registered, and logged in, choose a forum, and click above all the topics, an image that says on it New Thread.
To post in a thread, choose a thread in a forum, and click near the top or bottom Post Reply
You can also use the Quick Reply feature where on each post next to a button called Quote there should be a button called Quick Reply. Click on that and start writing in the bottom box.
User Titles
User titles are words below your name in your profile or your post. When your post count gets to a certain number, your user title will change. A list of them is below.

VIPs can change their user title to anything they want, and PM properclone for HTML user titles. Habbox Staff do not use the basic post count changing user titles, but have their job title in it instead.

Avatars
Avatars are little images next to your name in posts, and under your name in profiles. You can change them in your Profile, and different user groups have different avatar size limits.

Profiles
Everyone has a profile. When you click on their names it takes you to their profile where it has lots of stuff. Your avatar, your user title, your user profile picture (If you can get one) Your post count, find all your posts / threads, your daily post count, and lots more. You can change your profile in the UserCP.
User Groups
There are several user groups that you can be in. You cant exactly choose to be in any but VIP and Member. VIP you have to buy your way in, and staff, you get asked to be one if you are right for the job.

Reputation
People can give you reputation for good and bad posts. You get one extra green Reputation Block each 100 reputation points you get. Your Reputation Power (How much damage your rep does to one post) goes up when you have a certain amount of reputation points and post count. People who have just registered have a Reputation Power of 0. A list of User Reputation Ranks is shown below.
-100 is infamous around these parts
-50 can only hope to improve
-10 has a little shameless behaviour in the past
0 is an unknown quantity at this point
10 is on a distinguished road
25 will become famous soon enough
50 has a spectacular aura about
75 is a jewel in the rough
100 is just really nice

23. Don't post messages containing more than 15 smileys - This causes a lot of lag and is annoying for people with a slower internet connection.
24. Don't double post - Don't post two or more messages in a row. If you need to write something else, simply edit your post which you can do by clicking the icon in the top right corner of your message. This also means you cannot use the "Quote" option twice in a row.
25. Don't post any obscene or offending alterations - This includes gory alterations or alterations containing a lot of blood, and also holds for avatars and signatures, the main reason for this is due to the varied age range of habbox members.
26. Let Administrators and Moderators deal with any posts breaking the forum rules or any other problems concerning the forum rules - Do not post a message in which you tell another forum member they have broken the forum rules. Don't post a message in which you ask for another forum member to get banned or unbanned. If you think there has been a rule broken, click on the "Report Bad Post" icon at the top right of that post and explain the problem. If your problem is not about one particular post, you can also post a message in the "Report Abuse" forum with a brief description and some details of the problem (add a link if possible) then we will look into it.
27. Do not abuse the "Report Bad Post" button - Anybody who abuses this option on posts with which nothing is wrong will find themselves in trouble.
28. Do not ignore a Moderator's warning - Due to certain people not respecting our hard working staff we have now introduced a temporary ban for less severe cases but after one temporary ban the next ban you will receive is a permanent one. if you discover you are banned check your email that you have registered with and you will have an explanation why and for how long you have been banned.
29. When in the competition forum only post competition entries - Do not post questions or comments it is not the place to do so.
30. When posting in the news and rumours forum do not post things that you know are not true - This includes posting fake screenshots and your own made up stories.
31. Do not post any advertisments for anything illegal or what would be considered inappropriate for anybody from 11 years old upwards - Habbo Hotel is aimed at people aged 11 years old or over so we do not want anything to offend anybody in anyway.
32. Only give reputation points for posts that deserve them - There are many reasons to give good reputation points. The post may have helped you, had been well written or be a very good reply. Anybody asking for reputation points in posts or giving rep points to others just because its a friend or negative reputation points just because you don't like somebody will not be tolerated. Anybody caught doing this may get a big reduction to their rep points or worse!

How Do I Post?
Ok, once you have registered, and logged in, choose a forum, and click above all the topics, an image that says on it New Thread.
To post in a thread, choose a thread in a forum, and click near the top or bottom Post Reply
You can also use the Quick Reply feature where on each post next to a button called Quote there should be a button called Quick Reply. Click on that and start writing in the bottom box.

User titles are words below your name in your profile or your post. When your post count gets to a certain number, your user title will change. A list of them is below.

Avatars are little images next to your name in posts, and under your name in profiles. You can change them in your Profile, and different user groups have different avatar size limits.

Profiles
Everyone has a profile. When you click on their names it takes you to their profile where it has lots of stuff. Your avatar, your user title, your user profile picture (If you can get one) Your post count, find all your posts / threads, your daily post count, and lots more. You can change your profile in the UserCP.
User Groups
There are several user groups that you can be in. You cant exactly choose to be in any but VIP and Member. VIP you have to buy your way in, and staff, you get asked to be one if you are right for the job.

People can give you reputation for good and bad posts. You get one extra green Reputation Block each 100 reputation points you get. Your Reputation Power (How much damage your rep does to one post) goes up when you have a certain amount of reputation points and post count. People who have just registered have a Reputation Power of 0. A list of User Reputation Ranks is shown below.
-100 is infamous around these parts
-50 can only hope to improve
-10 has a little shameless behaviour in the past
0 is an unknown quantity at this point
