Ok, so your in a room and a guy/girl starts chatting to you, becomes your 'mate' and then blurts out with
" i think i should leave habbo, what should i do with my thrones?"
so you say
" can i have them?"
And he says
"Sure"
So, he then decides he wants to keep in touch, and asks for your MSN so he adds you and talks to you for a bit and you ask for his furni, he then says
" Oh yeh sure , i'll send you the password, is this the email you use for habbo?"
You say
" Yeh"
So he goes on habbo homepage and clicks on forgotten password, he enters your habbo name and your email, you receive a email with a code ( your new password) And he says,
"there i sent it to you"
So you try the password with his name and it doesnt work, so you tell him.
He then says
"Hmm, well let me try it whats the code?"

So you tell him, he now has your password and he takes your stuff, new or old?

Ive had someone get to the first stage but no further after saying 'my lyk email addy dont work, can i ave urs?' To avoid this i just ignore/remove anyone who says they want to leave or are thinking of it
Alternatively just dont give out your personal details at all, ever xD

You get a email saying habbo password, not the username, like I said if your a noob you will fall for it, and even if your not you could still.

Fair point. Some noob tried that one on me but i soon realised what he was up to then report him to a MOD and they sorted from there. But for all those out. Don't fall for that type of scam because to me it's new and am glad i noticed what he was up to otherwise he would have hacked my account i stole my stuff.

If someone tried that on you my best advice would be to Report ASAP! to alert MOD's of this habbo. As i did and he got banned.
