I tried this room and damn, i dont think its as good as it couldve turned out to be but...To look on the bright side, the only rares in it are cheap hc plasto chairs so im kinda happy about that, oh and those er...Gingerbread houses...Lets forget about those >.> I did try, i even put a little ferry service in the middle (The rollers and HC plasto) and i dont think i suceeded in what my Sulake Finland room had but here it is anyway:

Hmmm.. such a mismatch of furniture!
If your going to use posters try postering most of the walls, i don't know if it says 'lake' to me.
Sorry, 2/10 i dont like any of it :s

I see what you were trying to do but it didn't come out right like you said. Some furni is very random to be honest. 5/10, good effort though.

Mm i realised it doesnt remind me much of Africa either, thus the quote "I tried" in my post.. Oh well :( I cant really improve it to be honest, ive already spent alot on the room. Nevermind! Hopefully it may get in anyway for being rubbish LOL. Thats the way it goes these days eh?
I like this room, even though it doesn't remind me much of Africa you've put quite a bit of effort into it and it does look pretty good ;)
Have one type of poster on the walls-Rainforests would go the best I'd say. Also remove the dead ducks in the lake and replace them with nice yellow ones-I wouldn't want to see dead and bloodied ducks in the water if I was on a relaxing ferry trip ;) Maybe you could put barrel stools all the way around that table? The mode sofas don't really go with the theme, stools or even perhaps area sofas instead? And perhaps the room would look a bit more African if you changed the paint and flooring?
It has the potential of an excellent room, ATM I rate it 7/10 <3

I took a bit of advice and a bit of help off my friend, Airplay and this is what we came up with:

The blue matted area is a fishing dock btw :)

Hmm I'm not too sure about the sofas... it's not often you really so sofas lying about in Africa is it? :'p lol, hehe.
I say you could maybe get some petals and more plants and stuff involved?
It's a good room though! :]

Agree with ostinato. Its got the makings of a good room but as you say not as good as your sulake one but the top half does spoil it. The bottom half is really good without the sofa in it. The fishing dock and part with the lodge barrels is really good. Don't like the plasto chairs- maybe because it maybe too many there? If you have any petals little islands in the river could look
good or even green rugs surrounded by plants . I would extend the bottom theme and fishing dock theme right to the top and maybe have a waterfall/
rapids at the far end. The water also needs some fishies :) Think blue and green all over I think and you could stretch the posters around the room,
stretch the dock to the door and have water all around it. You don't actually need the blue rugs as a blue floor would be fine. Suggest you change the wall colour to maybe light blue or white as its supposed to be outdoors.
As it is still 8.5/10 and like to see it when its done. :)

This could easily be in the top ten now its changed, the little villiage right next to a enormous (Compared) Hammock and sofas looks odd.. 8/10

Well, I had an excellent idea for a room to enter. (Although i'm not anymore) But now i'm thinking different. This room is amazing, well done.

Agred. Very Nice but ascatzsy said a few things need to be changed
Also as Moosik said the sofas and hammok look totally out of proportion with the houses nd trees id take them out and replace them with sumit else tbh
but good work 8/10
