Well this idea is a little far fetched but I'll suggest it anyway:

Instead of doing all the main aspects/landmarks of Egypt why not just do one large famous one? You could do King Tutankhamun's tomb, but inside it if you get what I mean; so a lot of lodge passageways leading to dead ends and what not-the kind of things the pyramids were filled with to use as a means of security to protect their Pharoah. In the middle you could have the actual tomb maybe?

I know this requires an awful lot of furni and you might not be able to afford it but it's an idea :D
