9/11 Conspiracy - What Do YOU Think?

I'm not on any side, each side of the story has credable points and facts. But I want to know what YOU think!?
If you have absolutely no idea on the subject, I suggest you watch 'Loose Change' which is a documentary about the possible 9/11 conspiracy, and all the secrets the government is hiding from us.
Although I myself am a British Citizen, I am highly interested in American politics.
So please don't criticise me for juggling with the possiblity of a government cover-up, I insist you get the facts before any negative responses. This doesn't mean, however, that I aren't going to accept your opinion, as that is what I want!

Here are 3 facts backing up the conspiracy theory:

1. Before the north tower fell (the same applies for the south) there were a series of explosions erupted from the lower sections of the building, which supposedly were pre-placed explosive devices, as there is no possible way the tower could have collapsed as it did simply from burning internally.

2. When a hijacked plane collided with the walls of the pentagon, amazingly, NO debris (except small particles of airplane debris which was confiscated by FBI agents before cameras were on the scene) was found at the crash site. The governments explanation is that the debris melted in the flames. But science proves that the material the plane was made out of couldn't have possibly dissappeared like that, as it has a far greater melting point than the temparature of the flames.

3. When the ''plane'' hit the pentagon, nobody heard it coming, that is purely because it was supposedly an american military missile, which has aerodynamic features which also includes stealth at low altitude. This would also explain the lack of debris, and unfitting engine turbine found, and guess what? The engine turbine matched an american military one.

These are only 3 of the hundreds of facts featured in the documentary.
Purely coincedence? I'll let you ask the questions.

they also said that the plane that went into the pentagon would of had to pull of a hard manover in order to be about 3 foot off the ground in order to do what happened.

This could be the air presuse forcing dust and particals through the windows because the air has no way to escape. For the other things on loose change I cannot think of an explaination.

Although I think Maddox has the right idea, I mean if the gov killed all of them people they wouldn't have a problem killing the scott geezer who made the loose change video, jeeze.

The conspiracies for 9/11 are hilarious. There's pages all over the 'net with things about the "strange coincidences" that make up the numbers 9 and 11. What people fail to realise is that if terrorists are going to do a mission as big as this, they'll plan to the very second what's going to happen, and the whole "911 is the American emergency service number, it must be the government!" theory (along with other numberical ideas) could just as well have been thought up by the actual culprits of the 9/11 attacks.

Also the link that Azul referred to puts across some decent points that you can't really argue with.

The thing they didnt mention in loose change is how metal softens. He only said when it melts, but the steel softens at a lower temperature. Combine the softening with tons and tons of pressure from the building's top and you get a collapse. The explosions from the bottom also can be a number of things. Pressure from the top falling, or the flashes could even be rescue crews with flash lights.


2. The problem with the theory of a missle is... where is the plane? Flight 77 went missing with all those people on board, so what happened to them?

Funny because last night me and my friends were talking about this.

I saw the loose change video and thought it was all true and then saw the rebuttle videos and kind of didnt agree with all of their points but I learned that everyone on the internet just wants to be right and both sides missuse information to make their point better.

If I looked into it and found out sources for myself I would have a side but I realized that I dont know the real facts and I shouldnt listen to what people who just want to be right are saying.

So I stand undecided and to tell the truth.. It doesnt really matter what I think in the overall scheme of things.

Looking at the videos of it, the top half of the tower, above the hole where a plane went through fell first, then the rest of the building. So I don't think one of the facts are true.

And think about this: If the Bush Administration plan with 'Military precision' the attacks on 9/11, how could thay have messed up so badly in Iraq and hurricane Katrina?

O.K heres my views.

First off, I beleive it was a plane that hit it, numerous reasons why. One, there were reports of the flight going missing and people on that flight missing. The odds of a normal crash were very low along with the fact that they found AIRPLANE rubble and parts among the pentagon.

Secondly, since when has the taliban been able to actually GET a missle? Let alone get close enough to launch it.

People who make these conspiracy's clearly dig for ages and ages to find slight information and twist it around till people beleive it. The logical answer is usually the RIGHT ONE, and in this case there is overwhelming information to prove it was a plane.

Did you guys beleive in the 666 antichrist thing? that was made by a conspiracy nut too. The same people also said that 9/11 was ordered by the U.S to up security... do you beleive that?

Heaps of proof saying it was a plane and negative proof says that it was a missle. Yet people choose to think missle, and for that, their idiots.

Well in the conspiracy theory, they think it was the U.S. government, not the taliban.

However, I have always believed that flight 93 was shot down. There were many eye witnesses who say they saw a plane hovering over after the crash. The plane was also way to low for it to just disappear into the ground. There are too many un answered questions on that one I think.

If the US government wanted to scare their people into agreeing with anti-terror wars, they could have set their own planes to crash anywhere in America. Obviously the WTC would get a lot of attention as they were pretty big, but why choose a place that would cost so much in terms of lives, money, organisation and commerce when just as big a reaction could have been achieved by destroying a smaller place?

The 9/11 attacks had such an effect on the American people because they aren't used to being attacked on their own land - same as how Pearl Harbour caused outrage. America however are getting angry with a film director for making a film about 9/11, claiming that a whole FIVE YEARS after is "too soon". It's simply shock, they aren't used to it. The thing about the 'too soon' for a movie thing is that it comes from people who havent seen it. The movie was about 2 firefighters rescued from the rubble, nothing else. Wasent about the whole day, or all the people that died, just an examination of their story, thats it.

But in saying that there was no bits of the aeroplane debris found, I DID watch this documentary that was just the things leading up to the crash and it turns out that someone did eventually find the aeroplane engine, but apart from that as far as I know your'e right. btw this documentary I watch was not a reconstruction, just so you know <3 Meezi xxxx

The wing of the plane that flew into the Pentagon actually tipped a lamppost and injured a taxi driver, and there were hundreds of eye-witnesses that described the plane as a Boeing-757.

Don't believe every documentary you see; just because they're factual it doesn't mean they're fact. I've seen some real tripe in my time... Namely a JFK assassination documentary that alleges there were SIX gunmen involved xD
